Big Mo was singing and preaching at my church in Desoto, Mo last night, we had a wonderful service, good singing and some good preaching. Then after the service we went to pizza hut with Big Mo it was a very good and fun night. If anyone is in the Desoto, Mo area Big Mo will be preaching and singing for the next 3 nights, hope to see you there.

I have loved the Original Hinson's music for years. Please refresh my memory...who is Big Mo? I am probably way out there in left field and Big Mo has nothing to do with the Hinson's lol

In the early '80s, I remember 'Big Mo' with the Lesters. Then during the late '80s he had his own group called Chosen. They put out a great recording around 1989 called Rising To The Occassion. Big Mo has also written some great songs. My favorite is probably "I've Got A Right To Pray" recorded by the Paynes and more recently by the Crabb Family.

Big Mo is a good singer and a great songwriter. We saw him in one of the showcases at NQC, but I have been hearing his music for years. I have never had the opportunity to hear him preach. BTW, his real name is Milton Ostrander, so I assume he goes by "Big Mo" because of his initials and because he is big.

One of biggest hits Big Mo wrote was "The Call" which reached number 1 by Mike Bowling.

Tonight is the last night of the revival at our church with Big Mo, it as been a fantastic week of services, Big Mo is a very good songwriter and singer, and a very powerful preacher. His son Jermey was with him and did some of his christian comdey, then I find out that Jermey was nominated for christian comedian of the year but lost out to Mark Lowery, but I guess that was a good person to loose to. LOL LOL. I had no idea of the songs that Big Mo wrote until I checked out his web site, take a look you might be surprise also LOL!!!
