Seventy-two years ago today, November 25, 1936, the Chuck Wagon Gang went into the studio to record their first recording. Today the third generation Chuck Wagon Gang is in the studio doing another Chuck Wagon Gang recording which will include some of their old songs as well as some new ones. They are still carring on the same tradition which Dad Carter started.
Todays Gang includes bass/manager Dave Emery, tenor Stan Hill, soprano Julie Hudson and alto Penny Green.

Chuck Wagon Gang's Homecoming is going to be at Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge April 4, 2009. There will be a matinee performance at 1:00 pm which will include a special request time and a YOU sing with the CWG. Then the evening concert will follow at 6:00 pm.
They have special room rates at the hotel there.
