Please keep those Californians in harm's way, and all firefighters and emergency personnel on duty, in prayer as strong winds are fanning fires that consume homes rapidly. I pray for a peace, be still directive from the Lord, that things can be brought back under control quickly and no one lose a life or that of a loved one in this latest round of fires.

Father God...Your protection is needed for those still fighting the fires in California. The firefighters need strength and stamina to endure the heat and physical exhaustion. So we ask you Lord to supply all their needs in this time of crisis for not only the firefighters, but emergency Md's and attendants that may be working overtime to see this fire through. For all those who lost homes may they cling to you for new direction. And for those who don't know you, may they be told about Jesus the one true Savior who can bring peace in such a time as this. Lord God, if it be your will to calm the winds, we welcome it. We know you can bring the rain, when it's needed, so we ask for rain. Thank you for your love and mercy for all..in Jesus name.
