Prayers needed! A friend and neighbor discovered that her 74 yo father had been beaten to death last night. The suspect is her ex-bf and a former friend and work associate of ours. Jimmy has an extensive criminal record and knows that he may be facing a death sentence if caught and convicted. We are afraid that he'll do something stupid that may end his life even sooner.
A few months ago my husband and I began helping Jimmy get started in a business within our shop. We knew he had a rough life and had done prison time but seemed to have gotten his life together. At 50, you'd hope so. He had been laid off several months earlier and needed to find some way to make money legally so he wanted to start a detailing business within our business. Things didn't go as he hoped and began to fall into old habits by conning and stealing. He ran up some debts including a few criminal charges for theft (not from us thankfully). About a month ago everything hit the fan and his girlfriend of 5 years kicked him out. The police have been looking for him since. We had been praying for him and witnessing to him for the past few months, up to the point of where he disappeared.
Please pray that he's brought in safely and that he will find salvation before its too late. I've always believed that as long as there is breath, there is hope.
Pray for Joyce and her family as they face some very difficult and days and weeks.

Thank you all for your prayers. Jimmy was arrested in a border state safely and will be extradicted soon. Please pray for his salvation as well as for Joyce's family. They can't even plan a funeral until the criminal lab releases her dad's body. This has been such a terrible time for them all. What's worse is that they don't know Jesus.

Lord, we please ask that you watch over Jimmy at this time. He is very lost at this time and needs to find you, badly. Please help him to break the habbits that he has gotten into for stealing and conning people. Help him to get his life back on track and find joy with honesty and love and friendships. Most importantly, right now, help Jimmy to come forward regarding the crime that has committed. If he is guilty, please allow him to take responsibility for his action and answer for them with courage and faith in you, God. If he is innocent, please let him have the courage to come forward to defend himself and help with the investigation. Whatever the case, though, please be with him, God. Help to show him that you are the Truth, the Light, and the Way, and help him to repent from his evil deeds and find you through your Perfect Son, Jesus Christ. Help him to have the strength come forward and speak to the law enforcement officials, rather than end his own life.
God, I also pray for the family of the man who was killed. Their loved one has been taken from them in a horrible fashion. Please give them comfort and solace in their time of grief. Give them friends, family, and one another to cling to and draw strength from. Show them your love and mercy, and help to ease the pain of this loss. Welcome their loved one into your wonderful kingdom, and grant them peace throughout all of eternity, and help bring fair and proper justice to the individual who committed this act.
Lord God, this is difficult for anyone to ask for. No matter what happens, here, someone else is probably going to be hurting. We ask, though, that you in your perfect wisdom do that which is right. And we humbly ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Oh Lord, please please take Jimmy in under your wing Lord. I know that the enemy is trying
to destroy him Lord, please open his eyes and heart to you tonight Lord. Please Lord, I pray that
he let you into his heart and turn his life around. Please protect him from harming himself Lord and I pray that he will want to do the right thing, I pray for the family of the person who was murdered, I pray you bring them peace and comfort at this time Lord..
