Alright, so I am thinking about writting Jesus Christ down as my vote for president.
Is that mocking Him?
I mean, I said something like on my facebook status, and I have been called an idiot by two Christian kids....

It's a free country but to denigrate him to a 'protest vote' seems disingenuous(to me).

Ok, I know that he's King already...but one of the reasons that I am really doing this because I dont' believe that anyone BUT Him can change the country.

I know how you feel. It does seem as if it would take a miracle to fix this country. In the end though, I think all it would take (as if this would be a small feat in light of the antichristian attitude in this country) is for us to humble ourselves as a nation, turn from the wickedness, and pray. As I said, no small feat when you consider the secular attitude towards God vs. sin.

It's not mocking Jesus. It is mocking the election process and all the people that died to protect your freedom to mock the election process.

And honestly now, one could make a good arguement that we had more freedom before the revolution then we do have now.

Well, it didn't go off as planned...the write in area wasn't marked...and I didn't notice it until after I had filled it out and was just checking it to make sure I didn't miss anything...
Bah. What a horrible.
I did manage to make a few people mad though!

No its not! They died so that she could have the right to do exactly that with her vote. If she's not satisfied with what either of these two parties have to offer for the highest office in our land, she has the right to say so by casting such a ballot. Those men and women died so she could have exactly that right.

Hello violinist_for_jesus
Do you think Jesus is into politics? Does he exist in any human realm? No! He reigns at the right hand of God the Father where He constantly inerceded for those that believe in Him.
He also guides and inspires that that believe in Him to carry out specific assignments. Some he calls as evangelists of pastors: a spiritual calling. Other, he may call as a doctor, lawyer, teache and yes even (believe it or not) a politician.
I presume by your screen name that he's called you as a violinist. If so, he will anoint you music. He'll keep you bow steady and develp a smooth vibrato. And no squeeks or squakes. As you surmise I never made it to the concernt violinist status.
