I'm looking for a good timeline diagram that will allow me to relate the minor prophets to events going on in the region at the time. Is there a good one somewhere in christianity.com? or even elsewhere on the web?

I don't know, but I wonder if the NIV Archeological Study Bible would have such a timeline?

You can look in some of the time line articles in my web site which are based on the Biblical text: Kings timeline In this article is a time line of the Kings of Jerusalem (Judah) and Samaria (Israel). The author uses biblical sources and various methods to scale the time line and map it to the Biblical sources – “Kings” 1+2 and “Chronicles” 1+2. The article lists the 21 kings of Jerusalem (starting from David up to Zedekiah), 18 Kings of Samaria (from Jeroboam to Hoshea), and 23 High Cohens (from Aaron through Jehozadak). The time line includes the prophets and external events. Rotem
