My wife and I have done mystery shopping for several years and very much enjoy it. I am looking for additional companies for which we could do shopping in our area. If you have any decent scheduling companies or mystery shopping companies, please post links or send me a PM. Moderators - if this doesn't belong in this forum, please feel free to move! Regards, Ryan

From what I understand, they pay with coupons or discounts on their products, not cash so I never even bothered.

I've often wondered how these companies work. I really couldn't name any for you. However, I have thought of becoming a "Mystery Shopper," but I hate to shop!

I'm part of a company/website, but I think you'd know about it already. Someone else directed me to it. I know it's in good standing with the BBB, but I haven't done any mystery shopping yet b/c I haven't had time. There are some waiting for me if I want to though. :)

A Company such as Sears or Lens Crafter will ask for a few mystery shoppers to go through and shop and then report back to them on how their employees did. I've never done it before either but it sounds interesting. After you shop you fill out the form. How fast were they? Were they polite? Were the restrooms clean? Whatever the company wants to check on. You shop for things you need yourself or you can shop and then return the items. Did they refund your money with no complaints? That would be something else a company might check on. You get paid depending on how much time you spent there.
