Has this ever happened to you?

I have been searching for this certain verse for a while now.

I'm even starting to doubt i ever saw it!

But it's stuck in my head; so perhaps someone can help.

My description might be kind of vague or misleading

, but here it goes something along these lines...
What GOD can do for you is so much more than what you are doing/seeking.

My guess is in the old testament perhaps having to do with a king who may have sought medical help or riches or something and the response was GOD can do so much more for you than that. Again, that may not be where it is. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

That concept is implied many places in the Bible but I'm drawing a blank on a King needing medical help.......

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."

Thanks so much.. you are right it is found in many places. Strange though, once i posted this it pressed even harder on my brain. Well, i found it...

Then Amaziah said to the man of God, "But what shall we do about the hundred talents which I have given to the troops of Israel?" And the man of God answered, "The Lord is able to give you much more than this."2 Chronicles 25:9
I'm thankful that this verse is found that i may now have rest on this.

I shall now mark it so i shall not forget. Sorry, it's kind of like a false alarm now...
