You mean a website for a local congregation or denomination........
Nothing wrong with a website that serves as informative, for resource sharing, etc..

Of course they should. When I am in a new area and want to find a church, the web is generally THE place I look. If I can't find a website for a church, I assume it is extremely small and probably has had the same group of members for 30 years ...
It doesn't need to be extravagant (and I would prefer it not be!) but it needs to have basic information about getting there, times of services, etc. That's good enough.
A nice Gospel presentation is great too.

Thanx ... I was seeking ideas.
I suggested that my church should have a website. I was told to do it myself !!!

If you do put a site together please do this one thing: keep it updated and fresh!! Nothing as bad as a web site supposedly dedicated to the Lord that has a year old calendar on the homepage.

I agree ... a website should be updated regularly.
Try to get anyone in our church to contribute anything !!!
I've suggested people write in short articles, perhaps a summary of a good sermon, and things like that ... but ....
It's like climbing a steep mountain.
