I lump him in with Sean Hannity, but he seems less self-righteous.
I'll have to check out Colbert. What about Ann Coulter?

Bill O'Reilly. I've watched him for years. He is very fair and will not endorse a candidate.
With Sean and Rush you always know that they are completely in the "tank" for the Republicans.

Be sure that you differentiate between commentators and journalists. Ideally journalists will not show bias or give their opinion. Commentators are paid to give their opinion. Hopefully that opinion will be intellectually honest, not over stated like that of an Ann Coulter or a Michael Moore or an Olbermann type.

Thanks for the distinction...It does seems that the popular national commenators are the worst. Theyh are blatantly one-sided.
Though sometimes I feel CW members here are paid to give their opinion too, lol. I just like the facts mostly. If the analysis/opinion is objective and easy enough to understnd, then that's fine.
Just have hard time with name-calling, overstated criticisms, political excuses, exaggeration, accussations, etc.
Just give us facts and common sense analysis!

I like Juan Williams from Fox among others. He is a Dem as far as I know, but he is fair and honest. On the other side I like Fred Barnes. I also like listening to his Beltway brother, Mort.

I surfed during the RNC convention and found the PBS coverage to be more "business-like" without the efforts to drum up something juicy.

Larry King??? i dunno, the media is littered with personal bias. one side is hollywood, the other side is the EIB network, if you get my drift...
the opinion of the news sells...because people will talk about it.

Agreed on Juan Williams, though.
O'Reilly? Well, it's popular among the left to hate the man, but I've pretty much found him to be fair. He gives both sides a hard time when they deserve it. But again, he's more of an opinion based commentator than a journalist, so....

I can't agree with you there, tafkam. I listen to both Rush and Sean and it's with a grain of salt because they are both biased. Occasionally they will give the GOP a slap on the wrist.

we wouldn't know about him, because any person out there without an opinion represents nothing anyway. you wouldn't be able to hear their voice...you might as well just get someone who only asks questions and reports the news.

O'Reily seems to give more of both sides of an issue than any of the others.
I do sometimes wonder where they get the "Experts" they have on, but other than that I do believe it is fair.
The far left hates him, but so does the far right; indicitive of being in the middle somewhere.

I consider myself far right, I think. (Maybe there is a far right survey somewhere.) That is exactly why I like Bill is that he doesn't pander to the far right. Or the left.
Example: Wednesday night he had on Sally Quinn who wrote that vile op ed piece about Palin and I couldn't wait to see what she had to say for herself.
I was eagerly awaiting Bill to just rip into her and tear he to shreds! But he didn't. He was calm and objective and nice too.

We all have feet of clay and when people are anxious and want to win or have their point of view believed... well how true the verse above ring true.
As I stated many times... any media that twists those who desire to walk in the ways of God and mocks them like CBS,MSNBC,ABC,PBS and CNN,
well, it really gives me the mind set they call evil good and good evil. Therefore, I better think twice and look into who they promoting. When I look at their programming... even foxes (RED Dog)... many times they promote values that encourages evil. Desensitizing our youths... even ourselves to blush at evil...to not be ashamed anymore... then we wonder why our children will not obey... or why our marriages are suffering so much adultery. So I do not listen to liars... I examine for myself and do research. And depend on the Spirit of Truth... The Holy Spirit to speak to my heart. Trusting and Obeying God's Word.
I do not exalt the idol of the News Media... the enemy of our souls laces it with many lies. It is like the serpent informing eve..."

What is the serp... I mean the media saying to you and what is God truly saying. Think!!!! We have the mind of Christ Jesus, so we have a head start... there is no need to be guilliable.

P.s. Someone stated I did not mention Fox News. I did look above. Red Dog comes on at night and I find it very crude for anyone to look at.
Many programming on fox is to be questioned.

I agree that Juan Williams is good.
I actually think Glenn Beck is relatively politically unbiased/fair; he's somewhat personally biased on most issues but aren't we all - and he's not really a "newsman" so he can be.
