I am trying to keep the opinion of "these new boards are annoying" in hopes to not spend time here.

Yesterday was day #3 of the chiropractor and it wasn't quite as bad. I didn't go today. Go again tomorrow morning. I sat in the hard chairs at school for 5.5 hours today (2 in morning and 3.5 at night) and my tailbone hurts soooo bad. I can't wait to feel better some day.

For those who asked what is wrong:
* My back has 4 or 5 "zig-zags" instead of being straight
* The balance point in my neck is off about 1/2 an inch
* The neck is supposed to be curved almost as a C, and mine is almost straight
* The balance points in my lower back are off almost two inches (mostly to compensate for my neck, gotta keep the head up)
* My hips are twisted around very much wrong, which made it so my feet didn't touch the ground at the same level, which kept everything thrown off

So there's lots of good stuff to fix. He is thinking about 45 visits. I won't even be in town that long because I am leaving this summer for about two months.

Catherine, I'm so glad you're getting treatment now. Sorry you're aching but it will get better. I had the "C" curve adjusted back into my neck years ago and I'm glad I did. For as wacked out as what you described, it is such a good thing that you are having some correction done now. I know you aren't really thinking of this stuff right now, or at least I don't think so but it will all matter for your future of bearing children, headaches, etc. etc. It's take 19 years for your spine to get out of wack so be patient with correction. Hot showers, more correct posture, all that will help too as far as achey. ((((Catherine)))) I'm praying for you.

So I read the psalms every day, right? Well, I've been using a small paperback copy of The Psalms: Message version. It's really irritating because I really don't like The MEssage bible, but I can't find one in a real translation, that's just the psalms. For reasons I don't really know and can't really explain, I don't want to do my daily psalm reading in my regular bible. So when I was at Family bookstore yesterday I asked the sales person if they had any. She said they didn't, but could print me out a list of all the titles they carry that have "Psalm" in the title. She printed me 5 pages of books, cds, videos, etc that said anything about Psalms. I just did an ISBN search of all relevant titles on Family Bookstore and they didn't have any of them listed. So I went to Amazon and they had all but 1 or 2, but none of them were just a book of Psalms. Why is it you can find little NTs, and little books of John, but not JUST the book of Psalms?????!!!!????? It's really getting irritating.

I did see something cool about a Hebrew Translation that I might think about. It's only a couple $$, so it won't set me back too much if I don't like it. I wouldn't have gotten the one I have now, except I had a free gift card to Amazon just for filling out a survey, and that $3 was all I could afford with it.

I hope you find what you are looking for, Christine.

Thanks, Sharon.

Yesterday was the best feeling day I have had so far. Not totally pain free, but not so bad. Then I spent several hours laying on Matt, and I think I messed things up a bit
Today I am back to the headache at the back of my neck that I was having a lot two weeks ago.

Last night we had an associational VBS training. We had 160 people show up, which is a record up here. We put on a mini-VBS for the children of those coming to be trained, and I helped do that. It was fun.
I saw my former mission trip supervisor, Melanie, and was talking to her a bit. I told her I was dating our church sound man, Matt. She was like, "You're dating Matt??" "Yes." And then she about falls over laughing. I still haven't figured out what she thinks is so funny.

Today I am trying to spend all day doing homework. Next week I have two papers, a paper outline, and a test. Woohoo.

And then tomorrow I am going to go see Michael W Smith in concert. Yay.

I found out I can't take Claritin for allergy relief, have to look up the other OTC products... apparently I didn't read the front of the box that says SULFATE as part of Claritins drug name. arg. bad. bad.

I'm tired but awake after having soda with dinner and the guys are playing video games.

Jeremy and I left today by ourselves and went for a walk which turned into a movie and the walk home we stopped to watch a group of Indian guys playing Cricket, I'd never seen it played in front of me before. Very interesting game.

Catherine, I had to reread your saying you were laying on Matt.. just be careful there :)

I'm thinking of using Xanga or LiveJournal to use as a blog but haven't decided if I even want to journal anymore.

Anyone else awake?

LOL! Yah, I could have better phrased that "I was leaning on him while we were sitting..."

I am still awake. Organizing my CD's in a new case. Never knew I had 66 CD's.

well --- if/when you do decide, let me know and I'll add you to my friends list. I don't post too much there because only my sister and mom read it, and they know what's going on in my life. And there are things that I post in my blog that I don't want them reading (I wouldn't mind it, but it's not something that I'm posting for them TO read, so it feels misplaced), so I'd rather post my stuff elsewhere.

I cannot believe it is snowing here in the middle of APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sunday I spent the day in Sacramento. It was a gorgeous day! Sun, clouds, 80 degrees. THAT's what spring should feel like!
As Matt and I were driving home, it was snowing very hard on the Sacramento/Reno pass. Yesterday it snowed in town lightly. Today it snowed in town not so lightly. We had big hail that was making a *ping* sound as it hit the roof of my truck.

They cancelled my Core Humanities class tonight!!! I am so thrilled. I skipped my first class tonight to finish the six page paper that was supposed to be due, which now didn't turn out to be a good thing. It's nice to be able to come home again and work on the other plethora of papers I have.

plethora of papers I have.

Cool that you used that word Catherine!! I haven't seen that one in a long time!!!

Ellie Mae if you are reading, us Mac users have the tools here but we can't just highlight and apply like the quotes and colors and bolds etc without cutting and pasting, always having to split the befores and afters manually to get the text inbetween. After awhile ya get used to it. At least I have.

Now back to what you said to open your post Catherine.... SNOW??!!! Oh my!! We had 80 yesterday and and high 70's today. Tooooo weird!! By the way, did you get to see Kimberly while you were there?

¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ¯ÿ

OK --- here's the deal. The doctor poked me with a needle to make sure they weren't cysts. That hurt.

The doctor thinks that they are benign, but suggested a biopsy to make sure. He can do a full biopsy and remove the entire mass(es), a something else biopsy where they take a sample with a needle and if it's cancerous then do a full biopsy, or do nothing and have me go to the doctor every 6 weeks and then go in for another mammogram in 6 months. I don't like the idea of surgery, but I also don't like the idea of going to the doctor every 6 weeks.

I'm going to pray about it. Eric thinks I should just do the surgery if our insurance will cover it. I'm pretty sure it will.

I had a needle biopsy. It wasn't bad. If it is the same as mine, you lay on a table, stomach down. They go under the table with a needle 'punch' and it is over very quickly.

I looked at my insurance, and from what I can tell a biopsy would be fully covered. Certainly seems like a more financially smart route than seeing my ob/gyn every 6 weeks and paying $15 / visit.

Hmmm, Christine, I can't see the attachment either. Karlie had that same trouble when she couldn't see mine.

(((Christine))) I'd have the needle biopsy fairly soon. That way you would have some answers right away. I get a little nervous when people wait.

And you can see your OBGYN for 15 bucks a visit??? Sheesh, I can't see my doc for less than 85 bucks per visit. Even just to talk about med dosage adjustment.
