I was very pleased to see Word of Life already listed for next July. This is the earliest they have ever had it booked.

I just got through listening to L5 sing on the radio live at the Grand Ole Opry. They were great as usual, they were alloted two songs and they went with "Know So Salvation" and "Roll On" off of their new project, I really love that song it is an old time style quartet song!!!!!!!! When they were introduced they got a huge roaring ovation!!!!
the host said "I think this is who everyone came to see tonight".

Is what you mean to say that they typically have it booked a year in advance?

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I wonder if they booked it for next year?

Well its possible that just have not updated it on their web schedule yet, L5 seems to be a bit slow when it comes to the web. I hope they will be in southern IN in May they are usually there once or twice a year.

L5 seems to be a bit slow when it comes to the web.

That was because they had some problems with their host server for several months. They are now using a different one and Frank has been updating it regularly.

Wow, I missed a few of these. Nobody posted them here, so go and catch up!

A Big Weekend/Still Waiting on the Book

Just a quick update on the progress of a few things............

One: The book hasn't made it off the press yet, much to my dismay. The longest process in the printing is the sewing of the pages, and since the book is longer than some, the sewer thinks that it will require a second pass, which puts it behind schedule. The exciting thing, though, is that the printer met me tonight and gave me 3 copies of the book that had been done especially for me to have. It is better than I had imagined, and I am so blessed to have this done. It will be up on the web site when it is ready, not before, and the price is $20 plus $4 shipping. It is hardback, and is 460 pages long (but easy to read!).

Two: This weekend is Legacy Five's Celebration at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, and I was counting on having books to sell. I am going to have to print up pre-order forms now, and hope for the best. I will have the sample books with me.

Three: The concern now is whether the book will be done in time for NQC. I confess I am in a bit of a panic about that, but then I thought, "Why not ask my friends and Ropeholders to pray about that?", so I am! I REALLY need that book for NQC.

That's it for now. Busy, busy days and weeks ahead, and much to accomplish before, during, and after. I am looking forward to some more time at home after the middle of September. I have a lot to catch up on here, too. Meanwhile, though, I remain

In His Grip!

Debbie

I just read a post from Debbbie Bennett, posted last night and she said the book is ready! She said she will have it at NQC even if they have to drive the books to the NQC. The book is ready for sale, but Debbie said she couldn't ship the orders out until she gets home from NQC. That will be the first thing she does when she gets home is fill the orders she has.

Enjoy!!!.

Ok, I want to start something here. An L5 "Question of the Day"! The first question is,

Which L5 member, past or present, is your favorite and why? Tell us a good memory you have of that member, if applicable.

Great idea Tina!

I have to say Glenn Dustin. It is really tough these days as a bass. Everyone wants to compare you to George, JD, Big Chief, and others. And heaven forbid that you don't sing just like one of them. But I think Glenn is emerging as his own. He has been working very hard to improve his singing...and it is showing. His stage presence is very good. Glenn is a very good communicator.
And to top it all off, he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

My favorite L5 member was Roger Bennett. Not only for his piano skills—he was also my favorite vocalist in the group. My favorite memory of him is the one time I got to see him in person, on Sept. 11, 2005 (one day before that NQC).

I think that everyone already knows that Frank Seamans is my favorite. He always makes my son and I feel welcome every time we go to a concert as he has always done since the first time we saw them.

Never really thought about it. I wouldn't choose a favorite cause each one has has been a blessing.

I would say that I have the best personal connection with Frank. Just getting to know Tim.

All Right Guys I went to the L5-BB concert last night and I was truly blessed, I loved every minute of it!!!!!!!! My brother came with me he had fun too. Legacy Five took stage first and Started with "The Moment I Get Up There" which is one of my favs!!!! Then they went with "God Will Go" and WOW did Glenn drop on that one Next they went with "Roll On" the crowd response was good.
After that Frank gave an awesome testimony about Roger and how they were able to get through the first few months after Roger's Death. This set up the next song the song I really hope makes it to Number One on the charts at some point, "Hello After Goodbye" The Standing ovation they got was Incredible. Next was Frank's New song "Going Home Day" It was awesome he really skied probably higher than I have ever heard him. He has really improved over the last four and a half years. after that they sang some requests. Like
"Strike Up The Band" and " I Go to The Rock" the highlight for me out of this group of songs was "What Faith Does" It is my current Favorite by Legacy Five But I have so many.

Next The Booth Brothers came up and did their thing. They sang "He Saw It All First" then Michael Came out and introduced himself and said he was running for president and that Scott Fowler was going to be his vice. Then they went on to some of their classics. I heard one by Michael I had not heard before it was called "This Love Is Mine" and WOW I loved it. Another by Michael that got GREAT crowd Response was "My Secret Place" That song is awesome!!!!!! They also sang their Current #1 song "Welcome To The Family" Great Song. On a side note Roy Webb was their playing Piano for the Booth Brothers I wish he would join them permanently but he just plays for them when ever they are close by. After the Booth Brothers finished they sent everyone to the Product tables Michael tried to give away some L5 CD's But Scott Would not allow that this year

I got to meet the guys at their table they are all great. I got them to sign their newest CD for me.Michael Booth told me that I was the only one that had their new one ( Jokingly of course) I got it in the mail Friday from Springside Recordings. I also had L5 sign my God's Been Good CD. I got to talk to Frank some and he is an awesome guy, I told him I had a brother (Not the one I had with me, I have Three and we are all big L5 and Booth Brother Fans) that was a Tenor singer and he said he wanted to meet him next sat (Thats when I get to go back) Later Frank saw me and remembered my name and my brothers name. I was impressed by that. After that they sang two more songs I've Been Changed and Know So Salvation. at the end they all sang together on "Truth Is Marching' It was Incredible. Well I have gone on to long Sorry. I just had so much fun and was truly blessed.
