I'm thankful and blessed that 10 years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful little girl that has grown into quite an amazing young lady!

I'm thankful when I find notes like this from my kids sitting on my desk. repeated here just as my 6 year old first grader wrote it misspellings and all, with mommy adding corrections for readability.
Dear Mom,
I am thakful (thankful) for you because you give me stuff. Thake (thank) you for giveing (giving) me the crans (crayons). I can make pritty (pretty) pictures for you.

I'm blessed to hear my eldest dd say that, even though she's been there a thousand and one times, that her field trip to the library with her classmates was one of the best field trips ever!

I'm also thankful that she is contacting an oral surgeon to consult with regarding my dd's mouth and "lovely" impacted teeth.
