Awwww....
Bride was gorgeous, groom handsome. The cake...that cake was soooo simple but so elegant. I used to make and decorate wedding cakes. That one is very nice.

Congratulations to Sharon and Ray.
In three weeks I will be going to Mississippi which is under the affects of Gustave. Pam spent the weekend covering windows and securing what needed to be secured. Plus her father had been in the hospital for a week for what the doctors think is Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. He was released Sunday so the hospital could free beds for patients evacuated from the Gulf area.

WOW!!!! Be safe and keep on the look out....I was watching the weather channel and there seems to be a line of tropical storms/hurricanes building in the Atlantic! You guys may get a disaster of your own....

From what the weather channel just said, it seems likely to take a more southern route. So, hitting FL then going into the gulf again or skirting the keys of florida and then hitting somewhere in the gulf area again.
But who knows? Only God. I just hope it hurrys up and hits so that I can have my "get together!" What's the point of being married if you are by yourself anyhow?

I am flying to Jackson, MS on Sept 19. Then it is about a 110 mile drive to Pam's place. I am staying the Monday the 22 in the afternoon, and I 2ill be flying back to KC.
