Yes I did ... sorry I haven't replied...it was really helpful too. I've chosen a friend to talk to and sent her the thread to read so I'll chat to her about that on Sunday (on a 3 hour drive to holidays!!) Thanks heaps for your help.

well, we put the glowsticks in the empty bottle and then put the bottle on the (extremely hot) embers. It's funky, the glowsticks burst and you get a glowing bottle effect. Also, burning the end of a glowstick and then shaking it so the glow-stuff goes everywhere also looks extremely cool.

Now why would you want to know who was there? I'm not sure you'll know anyone... Jesse was there...he drove me as I would have no way of finding the place, the Bday boy Matt & his gf Ash, his dad & sister, a few family friends, a couple work mates and other church friends. I didn't know everyone at the beginning of the night, but it was good talking to people.
Is your daddy hat in place because you think we were being irresponsible? There were adults around and no young impressionable children (I think I was the youngest, well, apart from Matt's younger sis but she was in bed by this time)

I know I'm double posting, but I need to say that I love my dad. Through some error my pay didn't go through last Friday and I went shopping Sat and bought new shoes (for work). Then I checked my account on Monday to transfer extra $$ to my savings account and I saw that, uh oh, my automatic board money coming out has sent me overdrawn by $15. Panicking, I quickly transfer $50 to keep my balance in the all clear and hope everything is going to be ok. Tuesday (as Mon was a public holiday) I tell my manager and she informs me of the problem and quickly fixes it. I check my account Wednesday morning before work and see that a $38 payment honour fee has come out. I think, bugger, that's annoying and complain to dad. I get an email from dad later that day saying "You owe me, that fee should be refunded today"!! (my dad is a manger for about 3 branches - he's been in the business for about 25 years anyway) Yay for dads! And so I checked my account and there is a "Rev-dishonour fee" for $38. Having your dad as your bank manager is a great advantage.

I hate it when that happens. Some years ago the accountant (and part owner of the business) of a small office I worked at transfered the payroll money to the wrong account and everyone's paychecks bounced.
That made things a lot of fun for a few days......
And remember - this Sunday is Father's Day.
