No, it's not like a twitch, it's definitely a vibration, lasts about 30 seconds, sometimes longer. Weird.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing - but I do get this sensation of liquid - almost like you can feel your period flow...even when there isn't a period happening. It's kinda vibrate-ish like a spicket being turned off and on. I have that every now and then.

Yeah, I guess that's kinda what it feels like, but mine is kinda higher up so I never think anything's coming out. It's neverending, though, it happens every 15-20 minutes.

No, it's just annoying to me. If it ever gets constant or painful I'll go in, but not the way it is now. I'm getting more used to it now.

Memaw I knew I was menopausal not completely through it yet. I have just about every symptom. Some I didn't even know were symptoms. I'm kind of glad to find out, sometimes I just thought I was going crazy, my husband would tell you I already am, so maybe worse than usual LOL.

I used to work with this lady years ago and she's a great Christian woman. Anyway, when she was going through her menopause, she was telling me that there was a tape given to her by her ob/gyn (I believe she's also a believer) for her husband and teen daughter to listen. The tape was more aimed to her family so they can support and understand what's going with a woman going through menopausal. She shared with me how at times she was just frustrated because it was becoming to be either a joke or her family was just getting annoyed with her (or at least she thought) but the tape helped her husband and daughter and she was recommending it highly then. I did not pay attention to it then since I did not think I would need it sooner. Now...if I'd only listen to her and if I only know where she at now.

Boy did I need this. I've had that sensation too where it feels like I'm starting but I'm not. The headaches aren't good. I mean they're pretty much daily. Mood swings well we won't talk about those. Luckily the hot flashes aren't too bad, but then again I'm always hot anyway. Yes that thermostat during the summer is on 72, & in the winter never above 68. If hubby is cold he can put on a sweater.

I get quite a few headaches too, but I think they are allergy and stress related.

I have a question...it's kind of personal. What can be used to replace the "natural lubrication"? I have tried some products and find they irritate and are...how to say it?...tacky (messy). Does anyone have any suggestions? (Mods, I am trying to be discreet.)

*attempting to be discreet back* Husbands can provide natural lubrication. I'll leave it at that.

Kim, I know what you mean and relying on your husband isn't enough. I've tried several different kinds of personal lubrication. Some are rather expensive. The one I'm currently using is the Target brand of Personal Lubricating Liquid. The "warming" ones are nice but the K-Y Touch Massage -Warming is like water and runs everywhere. The kinds that come in a tube like toothpaste such as K-Y jelly are too cold and awkward to use. Yeah, there is some stickiness but that can be taken care of with a shower. The benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Anne

I think there is one called astro glide. I've never used it but a lot of the young women here in forums say they do.

I have tried the K-Y brand and end up itching like crazy (even when I have a pap test and doc uses it). I have heard of Astro Glide but always associated that with bad porn jokes (wait, that makes it sound as though there are "good" porn jokes). My skin is so sensitive to just about anything anymore, even soaps irritate. It's not just "in that area" either, it is my entire body. Makeup brands that I have used for years all of a sudden irritate my face (itching, rough, red), bath soap that I have used for years does the same thing.
