My wife's sister has cancer that, after remission, has come back and spread. To make the story short, she has lost the function of one kidney and is fighting to protect her liver. The cancer has spread through her stomach in spite of radiation treatments and chemo such that she has great trouble keeping down food. She is a Christian and trusts our Lord to do what is best. She has the attitude of acceptance for whatever God does.
Please pray for her husband, her teenage son and her grown daughters. Also, please pray for her sister, my wife. In the past, I could always tell when my wife was speaking with her sister over the phone by her laughter and joy. Please pray for the whole family.

Father we do lift this family and this wife and mother and sister to You. We ask for comfort and peace for all of them. We ask too for a miracle Lord! We know that You have authority over every illness and we stand in Your authority - the authority of the name of Jesus - against this cancer and command it to leave her. We ask You to heal her completely Father God.

Dear Father, I lift up this sister to You. If it is within Your perfect will, I ask for healing. If it is not, I as for Your peace and comfort to fill her. Take away her pain and nausa, Father, and hold her close. Be with her husband, children, sister, peaceofGod and all who love her. Give them Your peace about whatever Your will is, and comfort them. Father I come to You seeking only for Your good and perfect will to be done in this lady's life . Pleae Lord comfort her and her loved ones . Help them through this time of the unknowing and uncertainty . Bless her and her family with joy and courage for each day . I just ask God that if it be good , she would be healed of this cancer . Dear Heavenly Father I lift up this woman to you.
Lord you know her needs and concerns at this time.
I ask Lord that you help her in everyway possible to have comfort and calm.
Lord I pray that you cover her with your precious healing love as she puts her faith and trust in you.
Lord I ask that you help her to have some joy and happiness in the midst of her troubles.
May your words planted in her heart continualy remind her that you are always near and give her peace in every curcumstance.
Lord I pray that you bless her with mercy and your loving grace. May her life be a blessing to you Lord.
I ask Lord that this would be a truly wonderful precious time for these sisters to share.
May they always be able to laugh and enjoy each others company.
May they encourage one another Lord as they face this trial.
Lord be with them always in sadness and in joy. Hold them Lord in there time of need.
Lord give them courage and strengthen them daily through your word.
I pray Lord that you would be with this entire family and prepare them daily as they turn to you for answers.
I ask Lord that their faith, their hope would help them to lean on you and find rest.

Thank You for your continuing prayers.
Here is an update.
My wife spoke with her sister over the phone the other night. Her sister was realistic and matter-of-fact about the whole thing.
It's my understanding that she will soon undergo a high-radiation procedure which will make a part of her body radioactive.

She needs you Lord to hold her and keep her near.
I ask Lord that as she goes through these treatments that you would strengthen her.
May she not have ill effects and not be sick in any way.
Lord I ask you to be with her as she faces this and continue to minister to her through the power of your Holy Spirit.

Lord, I pray for this woman and all she is going through.
I ask that her body would help itself to fight all that it is dealing with. Also lots of healthy juices and foods that can be eaten.
I ask for soft music, massage and lots of love from family and friends.
Be with her sister, who is struggling watching her sister suffer.
I ask that Peace of God could minister to his sister-in-law and to his wife, and God give them strength and your unending Love,

Thank you for Jim and the support he gives others in prayer. Thank you that you are with him and his wife in this hard time. Lord we continue to lift this lady to You for healing, comfort, and freedom from pain. Please fill her with peace about it all Lord and those around her that love and care for her. Here is an update.
My sister received news last night that there was a procedure attempted Friday, but the doctors found that the cancer is worse than they thought. As I understand it, they are scheduling another procedure. My wife is planning a trip out there to see her and the family.
Father,
Thank You so much for the many prayers on behalf of my wife's sister.
Please help as You see is best.
As You comfort her, please comfort the whole family as well--especially her husband, her teenage son, her grown daughters and her elderly parents.
Please use each family member to comfort and encourage the other family members.
Of course, our desire and request is that You heal her.
Thank You for Your goodness and for all that You will do.

Dear Lord please heal this dear lady. Cause the cancer to shrink and die and her liver and kidneys to function. Thank you for her laughter and joy. Please bring this loving, joyful person out this and return her to her family in Jesus name. Thank you Lord for this loving mother, wife, sister and friend. We need these people to be salt and shining examples for the rest of us. Amen.

I pray that Jim's wife can be a annointed vessel of Your Love, Lord.
I ask that you give her supernatural Peace and Calm to say just the right words to her sister. I ask that Love could be present the whole time she visits. Give her a safe trip, as well.
I ask for gentleness around all the family and a time of healing physically and emotionally for her sister.
I ask that you keep Jim strong to be able to emotionally support his wife through all this.
I know it is so important for the caregiver to have a support like Jim is.
Help him to be able to pray with his wife thru all they are going thru in this very stressful time for all,

My wife's sister is doing better now after the doctor changed the medicine in her chemo therapy.
We were in Spokane and Clarkston, WA during the last 5 days and were encouraged by the improvement of my wife's sister. Her husband, who is an M.D., is also encouraged.
Now, we all are quite concerned about their Dad's cancer which now has caused the loss of use of his legs and other complications. We stayed with the parents in Clarkston and assisted their brother in taking care of them. Their Dad was hospitalized yesterday. Thankfully, their Mom is holding up well in spite of her Parkinson's disease.
