I have yet to see the Perry in concert other than at NQC. I may make the trip to Bristol, VA this weekend to do just that.

If you do, let us know what you think!

I sure will if I go, but it's a looong way down there. We'll see.

How many hours? How far will you go to see a Southern Gospel concert?

I am not sure of who I have seen the most, but groups I have seen 8+ times, in no particular order, would be: Gold City, Kingsmen (Carolina Boys), Karen Peck & New River, Talley Trio, Greater Vision, Dixie Melody Boys, and probably the Gaither Vocal Band.
One I have never seen but would really love to see would be the Inspirations.

I was sure that I would leave some group off so I want to add a few more to my list...Kirk Talley, the Talley Trio, and the Kingsmen. If I think of anymore I will add them later.

The Original Hinsons I have seen so many times I can't even think about a number. And next would be The Crabb Family.

I saw the original Goodmans in the 70's. I also saw the Stamps with Glen
Payne. In my later years, I have seen Greater Vision and Legacy Five more times than I can count. I saw the debut performance of Mercy's Mark at the L5's Celebration. We go to the May Celebration every year and to Praisefest in the Smokies and in Texas every year.

After thinking about it some more, it is very likely I have also seen the Hoppers and the Crabb Family the 8+ times I used in my original post.

I have seen Jim Hamill more then any other group/singer. I know that sounds kind of funny but he has been the MC for the James D. Vaughn QT festival and Annual Florence Thanksgiving Sing (till this year ).

Other than him I have seen Gold City and the Kingsmen the most. I have also seen New Ground, the Greenes and Inspirations a lot.

I have never thought to count any of them, so I don't have a number for any, but I have seen many
