Cool! You'll become Super LabGuy.

Beaker needs a superman suit when that happens. Maybe one with an atomic explosion on it or something.

I remember you saying that you like the Cloisters. Will you go there again?

OH, OH, OH!!!! I just learned about the Cloisters recently...I SOOOO want to go!

Go for me, will you Robb? Since I can't?

Sorry, besiderself, I missed the last thread. Are you going to France in August?

Hey David:

Nice to meet you...you're kinda new around here, aren't you?

You can still visit the June thread and see the conversation...but Robb (LabGuy) is going to NYC (or thinking about it) and has been before and visited the Cloisters there.

I'm just studying French because I need to CLEP out of 12 hours of it. I have returned to school to complete my degree, but I have to drive 100 miles one way...going to a lab class that requires attendance 5 days a week is definitely in the category of hardship for me. August is the goal I've set for myself to take the exam.

Ah, c'est bon! J'etudier Francais pour quatre ans en ecole. I wish I could help you study but, obviously, my grammar has suffered greatly since then. [:D]

Nice to meet you, too! I've been around for a while but never posted much. Got some free time now, though, so I figured I'd say hi to everybody. [:)] What is your degree in?

Fixed it for you. [;)] Thanks for the offer of help. I have a friend, though, who majored in French and lived in Paris for several years: she's fluent and is tutoring me.

My degree will be a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music.

Was your study of French in highschool, then? Did you go on to college?

What a wonderful course of study! I picked up a degree in computer science and sometimes wish I'd gone for something I loved instead of something practical.

Yes, I studied French in high school. Used it to test out of a language in college, like yourself. [:D]

mutinywxgirl -> RE: July Singles Chat - the dog days of summer are upon us.....what will we do? (7/1/2008 10:54:44 AM)

Yeah, that too......nothing to share today - at least not right now.

Grace-N-Mercy -> RE: July Singles Chat - the dog days of summer are upon us.....what will we do? (7/1/2008 11:01:25 AM)

We're such a talkative bunch today, aren't we? [:D]

So..... anyone have any interesting laws go into affect today? We're no longer allowed to feed the pelicans... a study says it can affect their migration habits.

mutinywxgirl -> RE: July Singles Chat - the dog days of summer are upon us.....what will we do? (7/1/2008 11:02:45 AM)

HUH??? I didn't see that one. Good grief. [:'(]

They now require every child under the age of 8 or 4'10" tall to ride in a booster seat here. From what I have heard it is not really clear when a shorter person could quit the booster seat. Some groups are trying to spin this as something that we should be celebrating here. I can see it now a booster seat festival. With dunk tanks, and rides (with booster seats of course).

Well, we can talk about buying cars. I'm waiting...(and waiting...and waiting) to receive a quote on insurance so I can try to make a decision on whether it would be cost effective to get a smaller, more fuel efficient car. The numbers as of now are so even as to make it completely impossible to make a choice between getting another car and keeping my current one.

*sigh*. I wish it were easier to be a single Mom and make these types of decisions.

But even with the help of my mom, my dad, and my son, there is still no clear leading.

Sheesh.

It would be ironic at a festival celebrating the vertically challenged to have signs reading, "You must be at least this tall to ride this ride."

Hey, guys! Go Craig...yay 4 you...a super member. [sm=dance.gif]

I think we should have super DUPER members. [sm=funny.gif]

Okay, yeah, the grapes and the applesauce I just ate made me a little snarky.

trainfan -> RE: July Singles Chat - the eyes of Texas are upon us.....what will we do? (7/1/2008 1:34:49 PM)

That may take a long to reach super duper member status. It took a long time to get to super member.
