EyptianPrincess (Sherry) is scheduled for her C-section today. It may have already been completed; however, I am unsure. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything from her. Please keep her and her family in your prayers today.
I did drop her a text this morning to let her know I was praying for her, her baby, and family; however, I will not bug her further as I want her to let us know when she's ready. Thanks for your prayers and patience.

"Baby Joshua is here, 7 lbs 15 oz and healthy, thank God. I still have not nursed since I am in recovery. Thanks be to God!"

ohhhh how so sweet of all you ladies!...I just got back home today...(Saturday arvo)... things are well...there were a couple of things... we didn't get baby Joshua circm as yet cause he has a (i forgot the technical terms right now so I hope this doesn't come out rude) bent pen** so the ped suggested I see a specialist first incase they cut too much or too little off. The other thing is he has this pocket of blood or fluid in his head (something hemophilia.....) but they said it dissolves by itself..and for the days I was in hospital the doc said it has been going down. He wants me to take him for an office appointment on Tuesday so we will see. Other than that he is precious... sleeps too much though so feeding him is such a chore! but he did latch very well and the nurses said she hasn't seen a baby this good! (yeah... proud mama moment!).
as for the whole C-section.. it was werid going in knowing what will happen. I was due to go in at 2pm but they called and said to go in at 1pm cause a couple of schedualed sections went into natural labour earlier... so I go in.. and there was another woman ahead of me.... but they found out she had "forgotten" and eaten at 8:30am that day!! so I went ahead of her!!!
They gave me spinal-tap.....it was all weird actually WALKING in the OR and sitting on the table and so forth. My blood pressure went really low during the operation and I felt like I was fainting..but they gave me something and after the baby was out.. I was feeling much better. In the recovery room though I was itching like CRAZY! apparently that was a normal side affect of the drugs? they gave me MORE drugs to take away the itch. I was in recovery till 7pm and then they took me to my room. Which praise God.. was single occupant! (I had been praying for that for some time - I hate sharing a room!)
the nurses from the other side of the ward who looked after me when I had my appendix last month came to walk me in the OR room and hug and stuff.. then came to see me after I came out! I was like a celebrity! LOL...not the best place to be "known"!!!
so baby Joshua looks NOTHING like my first.....he is on the dark side like my husband... BUT... I really cant tell who he looks like... he defenitly doesn't look like me... and only the hair and the eyebrows are like my husband! and he was only 7lbs 15oz.. which is smaller that my first 8lbs 14oz... so I am afraid handeling him! his weight has gone down to 7lbs 6oz when we checkedout today... my milk has not come in yet..but he is feeding off the colest. I just wish he would stop falling asleep!
Am in pain still becasue of the old scar from the first section...and also... my back is really worn out ..my doc says its from having an epi and a spinal in 1 month....
I am not sure if I can load pics up yet since I don't have enough posts... but I will if I can/know how...
