YW, Sherry. I would do it for any of my friends, hun!!

Oh and you SHOULD be able to upload pics (just use one as your avatar). Or you can post the link to say a Photobucket account if you have one & you are comfortable doing that!

I can't believe your little one is here already. Just seems like yesterday you had your appendectomy and now a baby. Wow....take it easy.

Continued thoughts and prayers for you and your family, Sherry.

God bless,
Megan

I'd love for Caleb to come this month ... but I'm not golding my breath. My 3rd was supposed to be a July baby, but arrived August 14, so I feel kinda gipped outta my July birth! (Not to mention that year had one of the hottest Augusts on record!)

I've still got 5 days to be a July birth!!! And my midwife has two different dates written in my file ... August 8th and 15th ... so it's either 2 or 3 weeks, depending on which date gets used. (I prefer the 8th ... makes the end seem so much closer!)

I just read in the Baby Chat thread that Erin is in the hospital and might be delivering Isaac Terry, due October 17th.

Since this is the thread for imminent births I thought maybe it was appropriate to comment here. Please let me know if that is not the case.

Dear Lord Jesus,
I ask you to watch over, be with, comfort and help Erin and Klay as they go through this day with Isaac Terry. Please keep Your loving hand on their whole family and that little one, whether today is his birthday or he is able to wait a little longer. Please, dear Jesus, be with Erin and the baby in all that goes on today, and let little baby Isaac be ready for this world even if he's early - let him be ready if today is his day. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for his little life, and for how his mama has been loving and caring for him since before he was even a twinkle in his daddy's eyes.
Thank You for how you've loved on that family and may You be clearly felt in Erin and Klay and their families on this day.
I ask You these things in Your precious and holy name,
Amen.

Amen and amen to the whole beautiful prayer.

And thank You Lord: he was breathing and crying. Thank You for Your mercies!

Thank You for the gift of baby Isaac! Thank You for keeping Your hand on Klay, Erin and baby Isaac!

WOW... that was the last thing I was expecting to see when I logged on today! I mean I knew I was out of touch for a while but I still knew it wasn't Erin's time yet! but God is good!

baby question.....but first I need to let you know that I *TRIED* with all my heart.....my little man latched on perfect but he would fall asleep ALL the time.. no matter what I did!.. he was butt naked with the a/c on and still fell asleep... I went for like 10 days with no sleep and him on my boob ALL DAY.. literally 15 min break if that! then his doctor suggested I pump and allow my husband to feed him so I can sleep a bit ..since I was getting really stressed out and he felt that baby was being exhausted and not satisfied... so I did that.... my milk came in like on the 8th day so its still fairly new.... I am not sure if my milk supply will be enough or not... I have supplemented with formula...and still pump.... I have enough for him all through the day.. we use like a bottle or 2 of formula. my issue is i havent got breast milk stock! i go back to work in september and was hoping to do as well as i did with my first (he was exclusively bf till 4 months even though i went back to work after 6 weeks. what can i do this time? and do you think mixing bm and formula is bad for baby?

TheEgyptianPrincess, will you re-ask that question in the bf thread? It would be off topic to discuss it here. Thanks!

AS ya'll know...he's here. Thanks so much for all the love...please keep it coming...its really helping get me through...its so hard to be a mama now and not be able to mama him yet. He's tiny, but boy has he got spunk.
2lb 14 oz, 13inches long.
He is breathing very well, just have to get those kidneys to going and get him fattened up!

I'm feeling good...a little sore and stiff today. Delivery was a breeze...I was fully dialted and effaced with bulging waters when we got to the hospital. Once they let me push (had to wait for a NICU team to arrive-2 hours) I only pushed for less than 10 minutes...then he was gone off to the hospital.

Glad you're feeling well, Miss Erin. I hope that stiffness and soreness goes away soon for you. You are very brave! I can't imagine what I would have been feeling like during those 2 hours. But I'm sure it made you feel a lot better that a NICU team was available as soon as Isaac made his appearance.
Wow Erin, can you believe it....after all that time TTC and STC....you're a MOM now! Your little guy is here!!! Congrats on your new family! God is good.
