I cried the first time I saw "A Walk to Remember."

I cried the first time I saw Dumbo when the mom is rocking her baby with her trunk through the cage. It made me too sad so I turned the rest of the movie off.

Lucky!! I still cry every single time I watch it which is close to like a billion times now...[8D][8D]

Pretty much any of the Love Comes Softly series based on the books by Janette Oke make me cry too, especially Love's Enduring Promise(The way Willie asks Missie to marry him is soooo cute![sm=icon_smile.gif]) But, I am kind of a softie, I cry at just about anything sad of sweet![:)]

The Notebook for sure. When James Garner cries is when I lose it.

Saving Private Ryan -- the first time I saw it, I bawled like a baby for a good 10 minutes straight. I've never looked at old men the same way since.

Sophie's Choice -- oh man, that's rough but it's one of the best movies ever.

Dawn Anna -- a biography of a teacher during the 90s. I did not see the ending coming.

Immortal Beloved -- several scenes

Manon des sources -- the almost final scene when the old man finds out the truth. Seen it numerous times and it still gets me.

The movie The Climb had me crying the first couple times I saw it.

Steel Magnolias The scene where Sally Field has just buried her daughter, THAT was intense! I'm puddling up right now just thinking about it!!

Sophie's Choice - Watch this if you want your heart plum ripped from your chest!

Fried Green Tomatoes - expect to laugh and cry all the way through this one

Passion of the Christ - Starting with the part where Jesus is scourged, I watched this film through my fingers and sobbed continuously to the end.

Last scene of "Cinema Paradiso". It is important that if you have seen this film that you DO NOT tell the ending, first time I saw it I remember being numb from joy from the sheer perfect surprise of it!

Field of Dreams "Hey Dad, want to have a catch?" I am welling up just thinking about that line.

I saw Fireproof this weekend and it had me crying as well.

How about Terms of Endearment. I also saw Fireproof this past Sat and it made me cry. I also loved the Notebook.

For me, it was just before that - when his wife remembered him and he took her in his arms - that's when I burst into tears.

I agree with a lot of these....it also reminds me that there a quite a few movies that I have wanted to see for years, but still haven't got around to seeing....like Radio, Shindler's List, and a few more. I might have cried in A Walk to Remember, except that I read the book before I say the movie, and I didn't like all the changes the movie made, AND, although it is a sweet story to some extent, Jamie's willingness to be unequally yoked made me sad.

I'm a hopeless romantic, but I don't know why the Notebook didn't make me cry.

I bawled my eyes out in Jerry McGuire, an Officer and a Gentleman, and Good Will Hunting. These are three of the few movies I would watch again and again, and I bet, I would cry again if I were to watch them.

I cried in the Bucket List, Unfinished Life, Into the Wild (esp this one), Million Dollar Baby, Shawshank Redemption. I'll think some more.

I cry while watching movies very easily. Notting Hill made me cry as well when Julia's character said this line:

After all... I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

The Passion of the Christ, Facing the Giants(don't laugh at me, lol), Troy, and Captains Courageous a little bit.

Of course, I never let people know that I have tears in my eyes. I always pretend it's the lights, or that I'm coughing [:D]

The movie was based on a book? I didn't know that!

I cried on the Bucket List too. Same with Officer and a Gentleman, but the last time I saw it, I had forgotten all the **** stuff and a few other risque' stuff.

How about Shall We Dance-Richard Gere.

This is going to sound strange, but I cried my eyes out in the movie 8 Below. It's a story about the 8 huskies that were left in Antarctica. At the end of the movie, when the trainer came back to see if they were still alive, I bawled my eyes out when the dogs were nowhere to be found. It's based on a true story. Loved it. And it's a tear jerker if you like dogs.

. . . doesn't sound strange at all, Prairehiker. I got emotional over 8 Below too. Those dogs weren't your average pets. They were hero dogs... amazing how they survived. Great depiction of a true story for once.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who cried watching it, lol.

Here's a few other tearjerkers for me.

Of Mice and Men.
Glory (a war movie)
Shooting Dogs (it's a true story about a Christian school in Rwanda....a must see)
Touching the Void, and Into Thin air - both are true stories based on climbing expeditions that went badly.
The Gladiator

I think I'm going to watch it again today. I have the DVD but have only watched it once in the theater. I need a really good tearjerker to watch this weekend, lol.

I think I cried watching the Kite Runner and Life is beautiful as well.

Facing the Giants, when people on the football team accepted Jesus as their Savior. That got me crying.

Lion King...when Mufasa died.

A Walk to Remember...It was mostly when Shane West reunited with his dad. But I've cried at other parts.

Ummm, there's probably way more. But that's all that I can think of right now.

That movie still holds a place in my heart. I downloaded all the songs from LK 1 & 2 in MIDI format, and transported them to my keyboard.

Mine too. When Mufasa died, I cried my eyes out. I guess I'll watch it again since we have that one. My daughter loves it.

Has anyone seen or even remember the Fisher King? I think it was a tearjerker, but I can't remember much of it anymore.
