I've only had time to look at a few of the pictures, but it looks like you had a great time!! What a vacation! I'm envious! I'm sure I'll see some beautiful country on my trip, but won't get to experience it like you did. Wow!

You must be excited! You're leaving tomorrow? Are you all packed? Who's going with you? Enjoy and bring us lots of pictures. I love vacation pics...mine's always with my kid. She treasures them. We've been doing this type of trips since she was 3.5 and I hope we have a few more in the future.

Great shots Prairie. It makes me almost want to post mine, but I'm not too savvy with the digital camera just yet and the cd that came with the camera was giving some trouble to load. Anyway, it's been a week since I've been back from vacation and as usual I had a blast. Now I'm reacclimating myself to the ups and downs of day to day life.

Everyone should try to get away from the house, at least once a year. But form talking to some married folks this option is not always available to them. Monies are better allocated elsewhere.

Aw, c'mon Ebony. Post them, pleeease.
And yes, everyone should try to get away whenever they can. I live for these vacations. THe only bad part about it is when I come back, I hit such a low, that it's depressing. I'm finally coming back to normal after being back after a week.

Prairiehiker,

Welcome back!!! And thanks for posting the pictures - they were really good. Your daughter has a good eye. BC looks so beautiful - I've never been to Canada but now I really want to go!!!

I didn't go anywhere this summer for vacation except back to Maryland to visit my folks. I'm starting to get the itch to go somewhere ... maybe in the winter ...

Good morning all! I canceled my two days off in South Florida because of Fay coming in. Disappointing but, I need to stay put and be with my kids if in case this storm is a BIGGIE.
