I'm about ready to go to the pool but many people are still not concerned about sunscreen and tanning, unfortunately. But skin cancer has been on the rise, even people who don't spend a lot of time outside are getting it.
Had it...have it...get checked every 4-6 months. I'm a little paranoid, so it's more like 4 months[;)].
It is very serious stuff and not to be taken lightly. It doesn't really matter if you tan or not. Dark skin as well as light skin are both susceptable.
