I am probably going to anger a slew of people with my responses on this, but God Bless all of you anyway. I am a School Counselor by training, and currently do a great deal of pastoral counseling.

I have many many concerns about home schooling in general. I have home schooled for short periodsof time with three of my four children, but mostly due to their health resons. Keep in mind that I followed the curriculae of each school district I lived in at the time, and also keep in mind I was at least a licensed teacher when I undertook this endeavor. I am interested in the basic fundamental reason why people feel inclined to home school their children. I welcome these responses. I also am willing to act as an advisor or resource if anyone needs there services.

This really needs to be done in another thread, in the Parenting folder, as this thread is for the OP's specific situation.

Thanks,
PrincessDonna

my DH is the one who should wear the frilly apron. He does the cooking in the house. He loves to cook and chooses to do it. I do the dishes, so it is a compromise that works for us. :) The mental picture of my 6' 1", 300lb husband in a frilly apron is just killing me here.
