Responding to a question about a survey that shows increased exports to Iran, mainly from cigarettes, McCain said, "Maybe that's a way of killing them."
His singing about bombing Iran to the theme of the Beach Boy's "Barbara Ann" drew derision from many quarters but a "lighten up" response from McCain...taken from an article in the Washington Post by Michael D. Shear...original link by RichLP
I read a couple other articles, and some comments, referring to the above. I suppose one could find humor in McCain's remarks or consider them merely flippant. I think a candidate for President should be more sober-minded. Both remarks are at best childish or possibly point to an area of mental and or emotional instability. I'm beginning to think the Republicans made a mistake with John McCain.
Since the American President has a large impact around the world, I wonder what other leaders are thinking about McCain's comments and the prospect of him being President.
maybe it's time to resurrect the Alfred E. Neuman for President campain

Actually, if the consequences of this election weren't so terribly serious, the whole mess on both sides would be hilarious.
