I don't know Amerigrandpa.... I hope you're not terribly let down at the forums gathering when you reveal yourself, and there are people in the room who were wishing you were someone else.

Maybe you need to clarify a bit as to whether or not you are the person in the avatar you are using. If not, then you know people are going to be expecting to see HIM at that gathering and you might not get as warm a reception as he would get.

Just a thought. Maybe you should list a few facts about yourself on here before now and then, to disguingish yourself from others and place a few other "expectations" or "possibilities" in our minds so everyone doesn't get there expecting one person to show up. Maybe even switch temporarily to a similar avatar made from your own photo. It might feel good that day to feel like you stumped everyone on the forums, but it could also backfire and make you feel pretty unimportant if you didn't live up to their expectations.

So the picture in the avatar isn't him? Boy this gets more confusing by the minute, but at least we know who's picture he used.

But would a robot have that sense of humor?

I'd be more inclined to think of it as being one of Southern Gospel's funny men--Gerald Wolfe, Roy Webb, Kevin Williams, etc., or perhaps someone completely unknown who has that level of humor.

I am not too concerned about it. Probably everyone has wished I was someone else at one point or another.

You asked for a hint. I will give one: You have all, or at any rate almost all, heard of me. I am not an unknown singer you've never heard of before.

That has probably been one of my biggest concerns is that I wouldn't know who you were once you told me. I'm so glad I will be able to meet you soon and to give you a hug in person. So, are you really a grandpa?

I didn't vote, but I really don't care when Amerigrandpa wants to or if he wants to reveal himself. I won't be at NQC anyway, so I would just have to wait till somebody posts it on here, so whenever is up to him/her.

Who is Mick Jagger? Some opera singer or something?

On second thought, since his name doesn't end in O. If he went into opera, he'd have to change his name to Mickilando Jagger.

I just hope someone posts it for those of us who cannot attend NQC. One thing for sure, if he is a real grandpa he has to be a good guy.

No, I'm sure he's not! Daniel, Mick Jagger is the furthest you can get from a gospel singer!

Nope.

Well, maybe about the opera part. I doubt you and Kerr would be talking about an opera singer, and, as I said, he name doesn't end in O. But I don't know who he is.

Of course, I could always Google him, but...

OK.

I've heard the name. I think they're some kind of rock group, but I couldn't pick their photo out of a lineup and I've never heard any of their songs. (Thankfully!)
