Y'all done went and got me confused now. Mine just returns to my post. I think it's something in the profile that you check to get it to do that.

Bobby, not sure how the others do it but after I click ok for my post and it shows up, I can either right click and hit refresh and it shows any other posts after mine or I left click on southern gospel at bottom of post and it takes me back to mail page.
Or after my post shows I can scroll up to see if any posts were made while I was typing my post. But to see new posts after my post in same thread I have to refresh.

I hate to say this . . . but what Bobby said is how it works for me as well.

It seems everyone is different but just stating at how it works for me. There could be a better way as I do learn new things almost every week. And since I am not very computer savvy I have to go with what works for me until I learn something new.

Wow, I'm going to be agreeing with Bobby twice in a row . . .
- what's up with that, anyway

. . . But, I just went to "My Profile"

and saw this:

After posting/editing a message, redirect me to:
- the message I posted
- the forum which the message resides in

Each option has a circle that can be selected (and in mine, the top option - "the message I posted" is selected.

I was just checking that also. That's the block I have checked to redirect me to the message I posted.

Santa, I wasn't saying your way was wrong . . . I was teasing Bobby for my doing something the same way he does it.

I was frying squash and nearly burnt them messing on this computer. My mind don't let me do but one thing at a time. I forget what I was doing when I start doing something else.

I just changed mine from the 2nd choice to the 1st choice and could not immediately tell the difference. Which of these do y'all have checked?

I've got Option #2 . . . however, I also have opted out of receiving email notifications . . . so essentially, I'm never notified.

edited: a wrong preposition can totally change the entire meaning of a sentence!

Looks like I cleared the board since everyone seems to be gone. I have another question, when you all get rested up!

I figured out how to cicle the last person's quote to reply to, but how do I go back several posts to reply to that quote????

You will all be sorry I got on here!!

Whoops! I meant circle instead of cicle....I don't know how to correct that either. Oh my! I am exhausted!

The way I do it is to go to that post and click on quote and when it appears scroll down to bottom of the original post you are quoting and post your reply.

Just click on edit and when it comes up, make your correction and click on ok. Just like I had to do just now.

Do you know me?

I think I only know one Janis, and I hadn't known her to be a Southern Gospel fan (besides being aware of JD Sumner and the Stamps).
