Oh boy, I have. Be glad you haven't witnessed it first hand. It's not a good and healthy environment, that's for sure. I'm just glad my family wasn't like that.

Nicole, it's messed up for me right now, I just noticed. Bizarre.

Please let us know how it goes, Nicole. I'll be thinking of you today.

Well, I realized today how much of a good influence our own Princess Donna has been on me. Over the last few days I've had whole, long posts typed out, then canceled them at the last minute. They just weren't helpful to the conversation.

Obviously, I should probably be hitting that cancel button more often then I do, but it's a start right?

Wow, Sandy! That's crazy. I never find anything good on Craigslist!

(((Nicole))) Hope it's going well.

I put up the 4th scrapbook page this morning.

My dad is here working on our flooring. I'm so very ready to be done with this project.

I was so accomplished in my jobs this morning and getting things done that I am thinking of adding something else to my list for today.....but I can't decide what....either making bread for the freezer, or making curtains for the girls room.

Sandy, that is wonderful! (I had a nice couple at church give me boy clothes from 24M-3T, so I kinda know how you feel.)

Sarah, I have been rather lazy today. Haven't done much except for some general tidying and sweeping. I did set my hubby "free" to have lunch and a movie with his brother. Since kids started arriving the two brothers haven't had a lot of "one on one" time; it's been mostly family get togethers.

It's funny, BIL was actually rather abusive to my husband when they were younger, and I mean beyond the "boys will be boys" stuff, but the two brothers are quite close as grown men. Oh sure, they still tick each other off, but they are there for each other, side by side, 'till the end.

I'm very accomplished today too, Sarah. I sat on the bed in the boys' room and supervised their cleaning it TOTALLY. Decluttered kitchen and dining room. Just generally picked up. It doesn't sound like much, but my house looks much happier.

Sandy, that's awesome!!

Nicole, how is Nath now?

Good job on a productive day, ladies! This morning I sewed a blanket for my best friend's baby, I'm going to see her next weekend, so I'm making a blanket and matching burp cloths (or "pretty spitties")

The neighbor kiddos were here playing this morning, and one of the 6 year old twin girls decided to clean Isaac and Isabel's room, LOL!! It looks good!

Nicole wanted me to let you guys know:

They had a 4 hour wait till Nath could see the doctor so her husband made her go to her mum's to get some sleep. The doctor didn't do any tests at all and told them it was behavior. He said that he does it so that Nicole will go to him. He didn't even do anything or try to find out more. So now Nicole and her husband are mad. I don't know why the doctor thinks that a baby crying in pain from gas is just doing that to get his mom's attention. Nicole has another kid and she knows when a baby is crying due to pain and discomfort or just trying to get attention. The doctor told them about a place they could go to to see if they can help Nath sleep.

I will let her add more to this if she feels the need to.

Aw man, how disheartening. Makes you wonder if these doctors even have children.

Rachel, that is so cute about her cleaning their rooms! What a sweetie!

Sandy, wooohoooooo!!!!! What a huge blessing!!!

Sarah, that is so cool that you have gotten so much done today!

Crystal, how much flooring still nees to be finished? I thought it was done. Very cool of your dad to help out!

Donna, yay for a happy house!!!

We were going to go to the zoo today, but then decided to go to the bird sanctuary. We needed groceries first. My back has been messed up for a couple days now and after walking around getting groceries it is really sore so we are going to stay home today. I really can't be walking when I hurt this much.

I know...

Doctors here aren't very good. I have a lot of bad memories and other people I know have almost died in hospitals from doctors being stupid and not doing things correctly.

We have that same syuff in the USA, Nicole. Some doctors won't listen to you, won't test to see if your words are truth, and want you to believe their expertise without anything to back up their opinion (when you've watched them tune you out and refuse to do anything scientific to discern the truth.) It's so frustrating and dangerous. I'd be furious after waiting 4 hours to be treated like that. I'm hoping to hear that Nicole stayed and got a second opinion because Nath's discomfort has gone on long enough. I can't imagine the stress her entire family is under from Nath's health issues!!

(((((((((((((NicoleAus)))))))))))))) How frustrating. We have doctors like that here too, sadly. We once had a doctor tell us that Hannah was throwing up her medicine because we weren't being stern enough with her and making her take it. She was admitted at a different hospital the next day with pneumonia in both lungs.

That really, really stinks.

(But, umm, Sandy? Isn't frosting a cupcake a good thing? )

Nicole, we're still working on the office, which we started a couple weeks ago. We've had to put a lot of it off due to my parents' Hawaii trip and now their house buying escapades (they close on the 17th, woooo!). We're aaaalmost done with the office. We would have been done, but we had a set back with the threshold thingy, but we got it worked out.

After the office is done, we have to do all the closets (there are, I think, 5?) and then put all the baseboards and trim back down and then we'll FINALLY be done. With that, anyway. Our next big project is tiling the kitchen and bathrooms.

Almost done for the day... then I've got to get some more scrapbook work done. I really really need to get that finished pronto.
