Delivery, installation, servicemen, etc who are 2 hours late for an appt. That is annoying! It is even more annoying when they show up unannounced. We are renting a new build home right now and every guy that has come to our door just assumes we own the place and knew about them coming. I don't even think the owner's were told they were coming or they would have let us know. When I am in my pj's and my hair is messy and greasy the last thing I want to do is let some strange man come in my house. I've gotten really good at not answering my door. I'm in a similar situation. Also renting a house, I have a new landlord who just took over. She bought new appliances and didn't realize delivery was already scheduled. She gave me the number to call and set it up. So I did, but they had already scheduled one. A time that didn't work. So I rescheduled a new time. Installation of the dishwasher was a different company, so a different day and time. The appliances arrived on time and the fridge and w/d were installed without any trouble. However, the dishwasher had to wait another 3 days and then the appt they gave me (which I had to call to learn) was 3-7pm. He showed up at 9 pm. If it weren't that I'm already on thin ice at work because of all the time off I've had to take for various dr appts, delivery schedules, satellite servicemen, etc. I would've rescheduled the installation. Another pet peeve: PHONE TREES!!! Especially voice activated phone trees that don't understand me. I NEVER have a simple question that fits in the pre-defined categories. I almost always need to talk to someone. But I can never manage to get through. Pressing 0 doesn't work anymore for a lot of new phone trees.

My kids are usually pretty noisy so the thing can't understad me half the time...... Have you tried saying "operator" or "customer service"?

OK! People who cannot drive with a cell phone in their ear, esp the walkie talkies. People who block the aisles at the grocery store cause they are talking on their cell phones Jaywalking , cross at the light Tailgating People who are late People who complain they are hungry but won't eat (at work) People who are freeloaders Nosy people People who can't admit their wrong and blame others People who can't get to the point. People who go to chain restaurants and expect a gourmet meal - uh its all comes in kits - there aren't gourmet chefs back there to create you a five star meal for 1/10th of the price. I got more can't remember all of it right now.

Everything...I'm pregnant! Just kidding! It drives me absolutely crazy when dh says that he is going to do something, but then...doesn't do it! I don't care if he doesn't do it - just don't tell me it's going to be done! Um...do I detect some hormones here?

I love the self check outs. They do tend to go much quicker...and if I'm slowed down it's my own stupidity usually causing the problem. I don't mind not having the discount for my own sanity

I hate it when people don't return their carts in the parking lot. The worst is when someone puts the cart right beside where they are supposed to go instead of just walking the extra 2 feet to put it in the proper spot. Yeah, I see people leave them in the middle of the parking spot, so the next person who comes has to either not take the spot or just get out to move the cart. After I told some family members that they can get sued if the cart damages someone's property (they can), I think they took the hint. They know, at least when they're with me, that they will have to put the cart up where it goes. They know they wouldn't want someone to do that then a cart bangs up their car (for them to have to fix with their own money), so I think they should show the same courtesy to others. Some other pet peeves are persistently poor grammar (not just the mistakes that everyone makes) and not putting trash where it should be.

I try to park next to cart returns too for the same reason as Sarah. I never leave it in the middle of the parking space. I put it in the grass or dirt where the trees are.

I will bag my own groceries if I have to, but I HATE IT!!! That's why I pay more money to shop at Safeway and not Food Maxx, so there is someone there to bag my groceries. I will do self checkout if I only have 1 or 2 things, but I'd rather not. I mave mixed feelings about them. Along dirty dishes in the sink: not emptying the dishwasher when you know it's dirty. Or putting the sponge in the bottom of the sink, then the dirty dishes on top of the sponge, then dump nasty food on top of the dirty dishes trying to rinse other dirty dishes off. NOW ... when I go to do the dishes I have to sift through all the dirty dishes first to find the sponge to rinse the dishes that are piled on top of the sponge. Blech!!! and my sponge is now dirty and gross too. Why can't you just put the sponge in the sponge holder behind the faucet????????????
