My teens have just been to a Youth Festival where they sang this song and heard the testimony behind it. I found clips on YouTube recorded in Australia and thought I'd share it with you all here.

His father is an amazing pastor, the whole family are just lovely people. Both of the boys are musicians and are very talented. They are from my home town, our church has been praying greatly for him. His story is very encouraging.

Well last I couldn't watch all the video, it kept freezing on me.
Last I heard is that he is still not too well but believing God for healing. I think its been like 2 years since they first said he had cancer and they only gave him a few months. I know he still preaches when he can too, at Hillsong and some youth events.

Totally shocked, read this today in the news. The whole thing was a FAKE!!
I feel so sorry for his family.

Oh man, that's so sad. What could have possessed him to do that? I understand everyone has their own agenda, but that's so shabby. Just think of the pain he may have caused for people going through the struggle, or who've lost people to cancer... His song was held up as this beautiful, precious, healing thing, and now it's been revealed to be a lie. Such a shame. [:(]

It's so sad when christians do things like that. It's not a good witness to the outside world.

I don't know, and its hard to know if the cancer he had years ago was true. Its not clear whether the one that he claimed to be healed of years ago is part of the lie or not. Its very sad. It was the running story in our news in my state as I imagine it was in other states too. His parents didn't comment. His dad is the leading pastor of a church which is pretty huge in the city where it is. I wonder if his wife ever knew. All we can do is pray for all those involved, all those hurt by what has happened.
