How about this ministry in your church?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

This has apparently proved one my favorite bible verses wrong. There really IS something new under the sun.

I laughed. It hurt too much to cry.

If they raise Elvis, let me know.

If they do, it will just be a hallucination. Too many hits from the crack pipe and way too many shrooms in their tea! [sm=redfaced.gif]

Can you huff embalming fluid?

I've actually gotten acid indigestion.

I was told many decades of moons ago,
We only have to proclaim our own deity and the followers
will come out of the woodwork. Only bugs follow this? lol.

Matthew 10:8 says "Heal the sick ... raise the dead..."

Maybe that's just a bad translation and it's "heal the dead ... raise the sick..."[:D]

Sammy_S -> RE: Extreme Prophetic - Can they get any NUTTIER! (8/18/2008 8:09:13 PM)

Can they raise their senses back to life?

well without using Todd Bentley's knee as a prop.

This is too much.

Um... how... does it work with um, embalming, and so forth?

Granted it hasn't worked yet, so maybe that's an issue...

Also, how do you "practice" miracles? I thought it was a work of God in the venue and timing He chooses, not something you could work on like, I don't know, basketball?

If you go to their site, they actually have additional videos. In one of them, they actually (and I'm not making this up!) instruct you to "practice" on ROAD KILL!

That is JUST what we need: reviving the armadillos! [sm=error.gif]

It's probably the fact that I'm running on basically no sleep whatsoever due to a sick baby, but my first thought was that that would make a good premise for the weirdest zombie movie EVER.

Wow...im shocked.
I find it hard to believe how those women can say all that with a straight face and eyes wide open to the camera. Sad...

What is more hard to believe is how so many self-professing Christians hold them to be Prophets and leaders of the Christian faith.

Child4Jesus -> RE: Extreme Prophetic - Can they get any NUTTIER! (8/22/2008 10:15:44 AM)

Unfortunately there are people out there that not only will fall for this but will encourage it and defend it. All this stuff upsets me.

Healing on Demand
Prophecy on Demand
Raise the dead on Demand
Revival on Demand

Yuck.

Now don't get me wrong. I believe that God heals today (not talking about physical only), gives prophecies, raises the dead, and does revivals. However I don't believe that we have to have these things be the goal when we get together. If God wants to physically heal somebody it's gonna happen. If he wants to give a prophecy it will happen, etc., etc.

Sounds like the words of L ROn Hubbard, the SF writer who was asked in the 40s if he had gotten wealthy from his pulp novellas. He responded that if one wanted to get rich he had to start his own religion......

That would be awesome!

AquaHarmony -> RE: Extreme Prophetic - Can they get any NUTTIER! (8/23/2008 9:44:20 PM)

Three minutes into this mess and I don't find anything funny, but more or less I fear for these people and the mockery they are making of the healing power of Christ! Just when I thought I couldn't hear any more stupidity, this fool says " We went to the mortuary and asked could we have some of the dead to PRACTICE ON???!!! [sm=eek.gif] This is NOTHING short of what Satan always does. Take something totally legitimate from Christ and make a mockery of it causing more and more people to misconstrue the healing power of Christ and the false, herectic message these idiots are pushing!

II Corinthians 10:4-5

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

my question is...if you do not agree with them then why keep going to their website

That is like hitting yourself in the head with a Hammer...it hurts the first time but you keep on pounding the ole head with the Hammer...
