Thanks for the hug! (((HUGS))) I always seem to keep more guy friends than girl friends, we just seem to click better and there have been about four of them that I found out this year that have one time or another liked me more than that...*sighs*
I just hope with Singing Boy I haven't messed it up for good...I REALLY like him.
Lesson to be learned here is that if you should decide to have guy friends, remember that they are not girls and you cannot tell them who you like. If you do, you will break far too many hearts as (being the wonderful person that you are) most guys who hang around you for any length of time will grow to like you.
Trust me...lesson learned! Thanks so much for calling me a wonderful person...I don't exactly "Feel" like one right now. I guess I never thought of the fact that guys a hang around with would grow to like me, I always see myself as the opinionated, mouthy, loud, and crazy country girl who insists on loving Christian Rock, and I guess they see me for the sweet and caring person that I am in my heart! Never, ever telling one of my guy friends who I like though...ever again! Gets WAY to complicated...

Now I've got friends who want to matchmake again. Last time I let family set me up with someone and I really really really wanted to know what they thought of me to have put me with who they set me up with. I have a crush that I've been trying to get over since it's senseless and detrimental so I'm thinking maybe, juuuuuuuuust maybe I'll let the amature cupid's take a turn.

I wish you the best with that! My well-meaning friends were never successful in that area (and it only happened a couple of times). In college I was set up with this guy that was crazy (and I'm not sure it was in a good way)....when it didn't work out, my friend said "I thought you two would be PERFECT for each other" and I quickly wondered who she thought I was!!!!
However, that is a moot point because today I share the number 16 with my current crush!
Exactly! I would run screaming from this offer but i like these friends, they know my wacky sense of humor, my over use of sarcasm, and my situation...PLUS my oldest has met him as he is a dad of one of her friends and she likes him too. Huge check mark on the give-it-a-try pros and cons list. Weather it will ever come to pass? who knows. If it does i'll let ya know

I am officially CRUSHLESS! Yes, I said it. Singing Boy asked the other girl out, why does it seem that the fake and flirty girls always get the guy? Oh, well. I guess maybe one of these days I will crush again...who knows! My friend was like-"Can I beat him up for you, please?" I wouldn't let him, silly to hurt someone over the fact that they don't like you back. Anyways, guess it doesn't really matter. I'm going back to my joke that I say when I get mad at a guy...I'm just moving to Florida and marrying Tim Tebow and the rest of you guys will just have to deal with it!

Here's a big hug for you, Chickie! I know how that feels. And one thing I can tell you is if a man won't even make the first move to ask you out, don't dwell on him too much. A real man who's interested in you will swim through shark infested waters just to bring you glass of lemonade, lol. Ok, i heard that from Dr. Laura. And it's not a bad advice as long as you reward him for his effort.

Aww! Thanks for the hug! I am doing fine and I feel like it was for the best, at least for now.
I'll be waiting for a man who is willing to swin through shark infested waters for me, or at least be a gentleman! LOL! Thanks again for the advice!

I am happily just staying crush free for the time being...except if my crush on Cody Linley counts, I can't believe he got voted off Dancing With The Stars!  He was the only reason I even watched this season, I don't normally, oh, well!

Ha, Ha! So very NOT funny John_O! I normally don't watch it, I don't care to much for the ladies and sometimes the gentleman's choice of attire, to put it nicely.
But, I knew how Cody Linely was because he's on "Hannah Montana" and considering I have a little sis, I have watched way more episodes than I'll admit!

I hate to be typing this...but after a few things that happened at church last night, I feel life breathing back into my friendship with Singing Boy. Wow, it felt weird to type that...again?! I was sure this was all dead and over, but now, I'm not so sure...I'm kind of excited that maybe it's not a lost dream, scared to believe that yet...

it's okay not to believe yet ... i think after you were hurt, it's prolly not best to get expectations sky high ... but i think at your age, it's not unusual at all for people to have multiple crushes (it's clear he was crushing on you too from all your posts) and just because he asked another girl on a date, it's not like it was a marriage proposal ... yay for hope!
