I wouldn't care what others say. I just happen to hear a guy, this afternoon, say he found the woman with short hair on the sonic commercials attractive. He is the leader of the singles group at a Baptist Church. I find woman with short and long hair attractive and I don't really wonder if the ones with short hair are lesbians.

Thanks for the thoughts! It is nice to know that most guys out there don't make assumptions or quick decisions based on hair length. That said - as soon as I can whack off an 8 inch ponytail to donate, I'm going back to the short style that I enjoyed so much. Sorry to those of you who love long hair - but in a way, I see this as being more honest to anyone I would date. I have a tendency to bounce between very long and rather short hair every few years or so. And looking back at pictures (and time spent grooming, and the disgust I feel when I find long hairs in the carpet, shower, or other places they don't belong) ... I think I prefer my short hair.

Well, I did it :) For some reason the stylist expected me to cry - he was like "Are you SURE you want to do this?" And the hair is off to become part of a wig for someone who needs the hair more than me.

I'm glad you had a stylist perform the 'surgery'... your earlier comment about whacking off the ponytail yourself had me cringing and hoping you had some sharp branch pruners or something to do the deed. I say let women't hair be women's hair, and men's be men's, and length be appropriate to the wearers choosing and fequently washed.
