My name is Jocelyn, and I absolutely hate being called Josh-E-Lyn. Ugh! There are no "H's" in my name! I don't see where people get it. I also don't answer Josh. Joss, yes, Josh no. LOL! I am a pill about my name though. I would tell people my name when I was young and then spell it for them! LOL!

I was thinking of this thread during the Sunday evening sermon. It was on Job. The names of his three daughters (the second set): "Dove" "Cinnamon" "Horn of Antimony" or "Horn of Eyeshadow" Of course, I suppose when Job named his daughters, there weren't many Biblical names, LOL!

I always thought they were Jemimah, Keziah, and Karen-happuch..yes the second set.....perhaps I'm confused..I'll have to look it up.

Those are their names, yes. But translated into English is what I posted. But Job naming them would've been like calling them the English translations.

I dunno, I know an awful lot of Brandys. Although, they could say it was the song...but is that really complimentary?

there's a lady in my hometown who named each of her 7 children after liquor. there's a hennessey, a cointreau, alize', and i forget the rest. if i walk down the liquor aisle at the store, though, i'd find them. i feel so bad for those kids when they get to school!

I must not be a liquor connoisseur, danivrich, because I've never heard of those, LOL!
