I'm asking for your prayers for my friend LB who is mentally ill. She is going through a very difficult time. Her husband just left her and her family is of no assistance to her at this time. I cannot be there for her as I'm too far away. My other friend who lives close by is worried for her since she might be trying to end her life. I have advised her to call the suicide numbers in the phone book and not try to handle this on her own. I have prayed already to God & Jesus to have them lifted up and watched over, but I know that more prayers are always need for those who are ill and those who try and help.

Lord, I lift up LB to you tonight...Please please protect her from the enemy, do not allow
this to happen and protect her life please Lord..Let her feel your presence with her there
and know that she is loved, she is needed here, she is a blessing to others..Please show
this to her and that to end her life is not the answer. You want her here for a purpose and
a reason Lord....Please, Lord, I pray for a hedge of protection over her.

Too many people are taking their life and the enemy needs to be stopped NOW...Lord,
I pray this in your precious name and rebuke the enemy from this situation....

Father, I ask for healing for LB. That You would help her to draw near to You. That You would help her and protect her. That You would help all who are trying to help her. And for Your help with all that are mentally ill, they're familys, and those that try to help them. May Your will be done in all of this. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord, please look down upon LB at this time. Lend to her your healing touch, and remove the illness that is afflicting her mind. Help her mind to be clear at all times so she can function normally in this world. Remove any stress, anxiety, or depression from her spirit as well as anything else that is not natural, and replace it with a spirit of calm and peace.

Please, God, bless LB with friends whom she can count on to express her woes and offer her support in her time of need. Iit is not good for anyone to have to suffer alone, so let there be people whom she can rely upon and whom can direct her to proper medical and psychiatric help, should she need it. Most of all, though, God, remind her that of all the friends LB might have, you are the greatest and that you will always be with her in her times of need.

God, all us have sinned. Some of us have even gone as far as to have turned our backs upon you completely. Yet, when we repent from these sins, you find it in your heart to welcome us back into your fold with open arms. And thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven of our transgressions. Lord, with this in mind, I offer LB and her problems up to you. Please tend to her with the loving grace that we know you tend to all your followers with.

I pray this in Jesus Christ's holy name.

I will be praying for your friend, as I can certainly relate to what she is going through! Please, remain supportive. A lot of people don't understand depression. You can't snap out of it anymore than a person could just snap out of cancer. Please, call around in your friend's community and see what options are available to her. There may be local depression support groups or an outpatient therapy set up at a local hospital. Your friend is likely too depressed to look into what help is available or might feel so hopeless that she doesn't believe she can feel better. I will keep your friend in my prayers. May GOD bless her.
