this was sent to me by a dear friend. Perhaps some of you have seen this before ... but I wanted to share with others who have not. Dancing With God When I meditated on the word Guidance, I kept seeing 'dance' at the end of the word. I remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing. When two people try to lead, nothing feels right. The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky. When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing Lightly in one direction or another. It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other. My eyes drew back to the word Guidance. When I saw 'G': I thought of God, followed by 'u' and 'i'. 'God, 'u' and 'i' dance.' God, you, and I dance. As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead. My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God, as God abides in you. Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life. This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached. If God has done anything for you in your life, please share this message with someone else. There is no cost but a lot of rewards; so let's continue to pray for one another. And I Hope You Dance

I am fairly new on Facebook but I don't like the new format either. There was a thing in the paper that most people don't like the new. Why was it changed? Sort of like new and improved cereal is never is as good as the old was.

I don't know why it was changed. I know that pages now load for me quicker which is a good thing. Some people had a ton of extras on their page and it would take forever to load or end up freezing for me. And now you can put everything under different tabs which is kinda nice, but I don't know if I really like the set up yet.

Divabrat, if nothing's showing, but you know you have applications, it might be a glitch. All mine show. I know when I switched to the new fb for a while, my friends asked me why I deleted my wall. I kept saying I hadn't deleted anything...turns out it was all that facebook glitchiness.

Glitchiness is rude--I hope FB learns to mind its manners!

Wait, in facebook, you can have a background like in myspace???? I have both, but have trouble with facebook. I usually use my myspace because I can make it so very personal if I want to.

Yeah well...... I remember typing ten-paragraph messages, then hitting send-- only to get the "Your inbox is unavailable due to maintenance" message. Hour spent on a message that never got sent, because they decided to start "maintenance" while I was in the midst of my message without me knowing it. MrsTracy, I don't think fb has backgrounds yet... unless I'm just in the dark about it...and I very well could be. I'm the last to know everything. Here are some of the fish we caught. There are only two posted, but I have like fifty from just that one day. The ones I caught w/my bare hands were the smaller ones. :) But somehow I managed to get a ton in my hand at a time. Smaller Fish: One Two Creek: One Two I'll post more later; I need to save everything for my thesis anyway. The thing that gets me is that the creek isn't designed for you to be able to go right down to it. I think, with the way things are constructed, they might have been trying to keep people away by making it difficult to access the creek at spots. Many times we have to park on a highway overpass/bridge and find some way down. And it's scary too, because she has us climbing steep things that weren't made for that. Half the time I wonder what'd happen if I slipped and got hurt...or died. It's pretty steep if you fall from the top. The creek at some parts is more like a river, and this isn't something you'd want your head and neck in...and you can't see the bottom, so if there's a huge rock/branch under there and you're in the middle with nothing to catch you... you're gone. It's gross, but that's why we're doing our theses on it I suppose.

Hi, ladies. Sorry I haven't been on lately. Things have been really busy at school. I'm just checking in and wanted to pop in for a bit. Have a nice day, ladies.

Thank you Kerryannism for sharing that! I went to a new church today. Well, I had been there last week too. Church let out and I headed to the bus stop. I discovered that I was going to have quite a long wait so I decided to go back to the church and use the ladies room. I waited for the "Walk" signal and I thought I looked both ways. There was an older man in a white pick-up truck getting ready to make a right hand turn on a red light. I guess he didn't see me in the crosswalk. I have several bruises on my left thigh, knee and calf from where his fender hit me. My knee is swollen and hurts. My left hip and lower back hurt too. My left hand and arm hurt from where I hit the hood of his truck. He looked at me, smiled, waved and drove off!! I was so flabbergasted that I didn't even think of getting his license plate number or calling the police. I guess that I should be thankful that I wasn't more seriously injured.
