AWWW!! That is so sweet ninja! Hey, you are going to be near my neck of the woods if you move to KS, way rockin'!

Oh yeah? What part of KS? I used to live in Hillsboro for a while and was my original destination, but it may be my ultimate destination in the future once I'm done with all my mechanics (i.e. school, grad school, etc) within the next several years. I want to be in Hutch to be close to Helen so we can have time to spend together; that one week sure was a blast, but we'll have many more weeks together. I actually love Kansas and I"m glad I spent some time there. I do believe it's the place I've been looking for and that place God has been leading me to all these years. For me, it's like a mini promised land because it provides everything I need in such a way where I can actually make a decent and valuable living there.

I actually live in the MO area, but it's on the border of Kansas, we go over there to farm shows and stuff like that!

Oh my gooshness, it's been crazy around here! Wedding planning has gotten into full swing since we moved our date up to August. My second job has been keeping me pretty busy. (As if my 1st job wrangling middle schoolers doesn't keep me busy enough!) Plus my fiancee and I are thinking about finding a new church home, so we've been researching that.

Ninja - I'm so happy to hear that your job clearance finally came through! If you came to KS you'd be in my neck of the woods too (I'm very close to Kansas City).

Jesuschick - That's great to hear that you did so well on your science test! You're one smart cookie

Ashbee - Welcome to the forums! I'm a middle school teacher 2 years out of college. I bet you are ready to be done and in your own classroom, huh? Are you doing your student teaching yet?

Fluff - It sounds like you're getting a lot done with your house. That must be so exciting! Brandon and I are planning on renting for a year or two once we're married, but I can hardly wait to own my own home.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend

I've been to KC a few times and I actually loved it there. It was really nice. In fact, I will probably be visiting the Missouri area in the future because I am thinking of attending Baptist Bible College Grad school once I finish up my BA online. I don't how long that will be, but by that time I will have some money saved and it won't just be me moving either , and so far things are going well in that direction although it's been extremely challenging but worth it. I'll know some more about other stuff in December. But yeah, the MO is very nice.

BTW, thanks everyone! Yeah, the job clearance finally came through; it's been interesting so far but it continues to challenge me. I think, as I was saying to myself earlier, that I believe I need to be in a place like this working with these type of children. I was "challenged" today in several ways but nothing to lose sleep over. I will say that some people have their way of dealing with these disrespectful students while some have others. Let's just that today I had a small "eupifany" about my meekness; I think it's literally on my face. I'm not the aggressive attitude type of guy, but I do get aggressive when provoked (enough) but it takes the right point and lots of time. So...yeah, kinda tells you what I"m dealing with. In all, though, I'm good and I always come home smiling because God is the one that reminds me that He is with me.

Megan, I hope your able to find a new church home and your wedding plans go smoothly (don't get stressed over it, its not worth having to glue the hair you pulled back in" lol but seriously take little by little and Just keep God with you and listen to him. He will help you through it all.
btw we don't own the house band we don't rent.. its a house that is in the family type deal so I have been very blessed to live there for awhile and eventually we will build a house or something

Ninja, I think the Baptist Bible College Grad school sounds great, and I am glad you are smiling after the challenging days because your reminded God is with you! I am glad things are going well with work.

The house seems more work then the wedding plans lol but things are all coming along. Just pray for me though it can get crazy lol

Thanks for the encouragement fluff! I had a friend whose family had a house that newlyweds in the family used. She and her husband lived there when they first got married, her aunt & uncle and mom & dad also did the same thing. I think that is just so neat. I'm glad you have that opportunity.

My weekend was very busy! My best friend Lindsay had a C-section at the end of last week (she wasn't due till this Thursday) so I've been visiting her a lot. She's doing great and is at home with baby Ayda. Saturday we had a birthday party to go to and then went to my friend Adrienne's and carved pumpkins and played rock band. After church yesterday I took my mom to lunch for her birthday. Then I became a blue fairy for our church's "Spooktacular". We had a hayride, costume contest, food, and trunk or treating. It was cold and my eye hurts today from all the glitter I had on, but it was fun. I'll try and post a picture, I'm sure it will be amusing!

Fluff - You don't have much longer till you're a Mrs.! How are you doing?

JesusChick - How are things with school and everything else?

Okay, I guess, it's tough, but I'm gonna make it...counting down the days until thanksgiving break though! LOL!

Everything else....confusing, confusing, confusing! Guys perplex me so bad, I was talking to my friend yesterday at church that I really like, well, actually a bunch of us young adults were all talking but, I was mostly talking to him. And I asked him something and he was like, "Oh, you talking to me?" and he had been looking at and listening to everything I had just said, or at least I thought so. Everyone promises that he says he likes me too, but he acts so weird around me, he won't hardly talk to me now and we used to be like brother and sister, now he acts like I have a gun to his head or something...*sighs* anyways, I try not to think about it too much. If God wants to work it out cool, if not, then cool too. I will always admire him though, he is an awesome young man!

Everything is okay in my life, nothing too exciting going on though.

My weekend was okay; a bittersweet one to be more precise. I used Saturday to tie up loose ends on the other side of town, which included mailing some things off and changing my address through the post office. I also got my bike from the last place I was staying at and rode it around in the area on Sunday. Also on Sunday, I went to church and heard a message on love; it was very awesome, and I'm still waiting for the podcast. With what's been going on lately, this message was greatly needed; our church has gone through a hurting and unstable time since May (we moved from the traditional church model to enacting the Plurality of Elders like in Scripture). To make a long story short, our church voted to return to tradition and two weeks ago called for the pastor's resignation; as of Thursday, the congregation voted to accept his resignation and will be staying with us until January 14th. Until then, the senior pastor is preaching the remainder of the year. This story goes pretty deep and I'll be more than willing to go into some other time. So, church on Sunday was more sensitive and emotional than usual, but after the message it was like everyone was free to say I love you and have no hinderances. I am currently re-enacting that in my personal life this week and am evaluating some things in my life to make sure I am doing all things in love. I also went to get some food for my house and then spent the rest of the day relaxing. It's been a nice work day so far and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week. Tonight I've managed to spend some time in prayer about some things in my life and I am hoping to redevelop my prayertime with God this week and on through the New Year. So much is happening in my life right now I need to constantly put myself before Him so that He will take my hand and lead through still waters and shield me when they get treacherous. I usually pray about everything, especially my relationship with Helen and the things happening in her life as well and my transition to move there in the future. So, that's about all that's going on with me. For now, I'm watching House On Haunted Hill and snacking on some vanilla waffers and drinking vanilla soymilk; it's not Silk's brand, but it taste like it (it's a generic brand, safeway I think); I think I need to switch to non-organic or one with a richer taste (8th Continent was the best...too bad they don't produce anymore).

Well, I had a decent weekend but the week has been pretty ****py, given the gists of what's been going on the last few months ('ve posted about a few of them). To add on to that, my girlfriend broke up with me yesterday; rather, we regressed to being friends again (not sure which is the difference). Nevertheless, been spending the day trying to recover from this shock (the way it happened is more difficult than the actual result, in which I don't mind but there is still a way to do things...). Granted, I've been trying to deal with this in my way; I"ve already had my rants and spoutings about it so I won't go into it, but I will say I feel like having romantic relationships with women (for me) doesn't seem to be working but being their friend works all too well; maybe I scare them away with it or something. Still, it's the first relationship that I've actually done very well in and have given and sacrificed more than I ever have before but in the end really looking out for the other person and wanting to meet their needs only lead to something horribly, at this it did this time. Honestly, I have so much going on right now that I'm just done with dating and love altogether....I feel doing other things (that are not appropriate) just as a carefree tactic to simply enjoy what I cannot have and apparently can't have (or keep) now. Anyway, aside from that, things are okay. Those past few months have been hard on me....I certainly was hoping to be able to keep fighting through all this hardship and putting up with disguisting behavior of these kids with hope of being able to take a relief for two weeks in being with the woman I loved. But now......my motivation level has dropped significantly and I'm just going through the motions right now trying to let this hurt pass through my system as I readjust my holiday plans. Looks like it's back to my original plan in moving to Hillsboro, but that won't be until the end of the school year (in June).

*sits down by Ninjaearth and gives him a hug* It will all be okay! I know how ya feel, got my heart pretty much stepped on this week too, he just doesn't know yet that he did it!

I had an okay weekend and week, although Tuesday was really upsetting for me...anyways, God is still in control, right? *smiles a weary and tear-stained smile*

Thank you; I need a hug. On the outside I'm doing okay but inwardly I'm still a wreck and dealing with my loss. I've had so much encouragement and advice the past couple of days, from various parties, and if I would there would be some things I'd do very easily. But honestly I still love her and it gets harder just trying to understand the way, although we've talked and brought things down to this previous level I still feel like it's my fault and I'm not a great guy and all. My friends have been praying and talking with me and it has helped; I guess I still need to let my emotions out and not hold them back; I want to hold on to them because they seem hurtful enough to say "I need to feel this just a bit longer" so an unknown reason. But I'm hurting, bad. haven't been in love for years and for a while I forgot what a broken heart felt like. Anyway, I'm going to on another rant and I don't want that. As long as she's happy then I can be her friend and support her as her brother in Christ, but I still need to recover from my romance of her.

Know how ya feel, it hurts to lose someone that you really love. But, we just have to rest in the fact that our Heavenly Father really does know what's best for us! I'll be praying for you man!

My week has gone okay so far, the weekend was AMAZING! I got to see FIREPROOF and I LOVED IT! School is okies and I am just trucking along, I am so content right now! I've finally figured out that God is in control and as long as I am doing what I need to be doing for Him, He will bring me the right guy in His time and not mine! So, no worries here! Except I am a little anxious about my math class tonight, other than that, it's all good!
