To answer the OP: No, it is not a sin to wish Geraldo would fall into the water.

Everybody knows that Geraldo's mustache acts as an emergency flotation device. If he would have been on the Titanic, many women and children would have been saved.

LOLOLOL!!!!!!

Is it a sin to wish a clown would throw a pie in his face when he gets so worked up over imaginary historical events he can use for a special?

Keep in mind if he is wearing his usual gigolo looking outfits and they are overpriced, no I do not think it is a sin to wish he would fall in the water, although as long as you are wishing he will only fall, and you explain to God that you are bored with his ignorant silliness and want to see a little safe and harmless comedy.......

I don't know about sin, but it's probably not very environmentally friendly! Think about the poor fish who have to share water with him.

Jesus loves Geraldo.

Yes He does....But most importantly, does Geraldo love Jesus?

Matthew 22:37-38: '...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Jesus said that the most important thing was that we love God and love our neighbors. Not just the people we want to love, not just the people with the right political stances, not just the ones whose TV shows please us, not just the people whose moustaches look cool. We are also to love those we don't want to love, those who disagree with us, those whose TV shows we can't stand, and those whose moustaches and arrogance and cockiness rub us the wrong way.

We are to love everyone.

That doesn't mean we agree with them, or we become fans, or we stop standing up for what's right. It doesn't mean sin goes unchallenged. But reading through some of the comments in this thread, we'd be hard-pressed to find the love of Jesus flowing through us to our neighbors.

Sometimes it's the most unlovable people that we are called to love. Sometimes it's the person who makes us say, "Yeah, but ...." that God most wants us to love. Sometimes we must be humble enough to admit that when we are unloving and un-Christlike, we can become the "unlovable" ones.

Sometimes the most loving thing one can to do a person is to show them the are "full of it," to bring one to Christ one doesn't show on his goodness but the depth of his sin.

No explanation? Then I guess we can assume that this thread is indeed an example of what we are NOT called to do as Christians.

As usual, Geraldo didn't have a clue what was going on in trying to tether the runaway barge.

Geraldo is full of himself and the loving thing to do is to show him the emperor has no clothes.

I just watched Geraldo and his drama on Fox covering Ike. Have ya'll seen that documentary of the guy that lived with the bears in Alaska then was eaten by a bear? For some reason I thought of that crazy guy while watching Geraldo standing on the beach with a hurricane bearing down on him.
