Open Water.

Holy toledos!!!! It is about a couple who learn to scuba dive, go out with a group but then get left behind. They instantly go from top of the food chain to the bottom. My stomach was in knots the whole time.

I am Legend. My wife and are separated, but when we were trying to work things out we rented this and watched it together. I was failing in putting on my tough guy act because it was freaking me out. Either way, she was even more scared so she didn't notice how I was, and it worked out for that night anyway. She was so scared that she let me stay over that night because she did not want the night creatures to get her.

The Dark Knight.

Saw it twice and will probably buy it when it's available. It's one of the best movies I have seen in a very long time. Excellent movie and Heath Ledger as "The Joker" was superb.

I agree, Heath did an outstanding job, and I can't see anyone ever trying to duplicate it.

Jaws
Alien
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy as I just couldn't wait for the next one, anticipation!! When is the Hobbit coming out?
Seven - watched it yrs. ago and the ending left me so surprised.
Titanic
Mystic River - Sean Penn is awesome.

I've got to add Raiders of The Lost Ark to this. I'm a pretty reserved guy, always playin' it cool, especially in college, when I saw it in a theater. But when that big ball came rolling down the cave at Indiana Jones, I jumped up out of my seat and yelled "WOWEEEEYAHOOSHAZAM!!!", or something like that. I don't think I sat down the rest of the movie.
Other good ones
Die Hard
Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back
Jurassic Park
Terminator and Terminator II

You guys and your drive-ins! he he

The Ghost and the Darkness had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. When it was over I could finally breathe again. And Jurassic Park too. I mean also. #1 was the best of the 3.

I thought I Am Legend had its moments, but I didnt' think it was the highest on my list of edge-of-your-seat films. Some moments were quite memorable though.

The first time I saw it I was on edge of my seat,b ut the thing that it lacked for me was emotional suspense too.....Now to combine action AND emotional suspense is the greatest thrill!
