For single moms, I'd point out that in Isaiah it says that God will be a husband and He will be a father to the fatherless. Everything you need, He will provide. He provides for the birds in the trees - how much more will he provide for us? And when you're exhausted but the kids are demanding your attention, or are stressed out by having to do it all on your own, remember that you are NOT all on your own. God is always with you. He will never leave you. Go to Him for rest, comfort, and peace. And, for singles in general, be content in your current circumstances like Paul says. God has a purpose for us and His good purpose for us will glorify His kingdom. It's not always fun, but even in struggles, trials, etc., the Bible tells us to consider it all joy (James 1:2) when we encounter those things and it will produce endurance and increase our faith. Everything that happens in our lives happens for a reason, whether we'll ever know what that reason is on this side of eternity. On other thing I'd add that goes with being content in your circumstances, is that when you are content and you're following your passion/heart that God has placed in you, you may well meet your future spouse while you're doing that passion. For example, if your passion is in missions, you may just meet your future spouse on the mission field. You can't put God in a box. He can do anything.
