Here's a place where you can link all the articles, youtubes, etc. concerning
gold teeth. If you believe it or not.

How many claims can we find?

To use a word of Hank Hanegraaff that is nothing but scriptorture. Gold/silver teeth are a sign of maturity? Scary stuff.

You couldn't be more right.
I thought this could be a spot to expose the lie
everytime it pops up and perhaps seeing them
together in one place, we can see the lie for what
it is. Any links to claimed "gold teeth?" post them here.

AND FINALLY...please read some of the quotes from her two books revival and revival glory to see the heresy that Brownsville has embraced ..she has spoken there and they revere her 'DOCTRINES' in these books as blueprints for revival..and one pastor from a church trying to imitate Brownsville read the book from the pulpit instead of the Bible...she has become the new guru for many of the Brownsville groupies and when you read her quotes you can see this is clearly not biblical Christianity. But this gold story takes the cake....God Bless.

Oh. I just realized I didn't even mention that he is claiming that God told him this. Does he even realize what he is doing? To claim such a thing is dangerous. Then to go on an twist Scripture to prove this is just beyond awful. The people at least on the platform don't even seem to bat an eye. Gold teeth means maturity? So what about that new christian that is there, who 5 years later is expecting gold/silver teeth and don't get them? How about 10 years later?

How do they know that these signs aren't lying signs from Satan and is demons?

2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 (New King James Version)

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Matthew 24:24

24"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

John 4:48

48 So Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe."

Like, gold dust and feathers are SO 1990's Toronto!

I thought these Charismaniacs were more creative than that. I thought they have come up with new, more exciting phony signs and wonders rather than go "old school" and bring back some of the old standards.

I was one such person.
I'm facing a root-canal/extraction in the coming weeks.
When I didn't get new teeth {because God is no respecter of persons}
I became very angry with God.............not the liars.

I remember when I first heard about people seeing gold dust and supposedly having their teeth filled with gold, etc.. It sounded so odd to me, it took me a while to realize that people were trying to say that this was from God. I just didn't see the connection. Anybody know where this originated? I mean, you hear this stuff in certain circles now, but who was the first one to claim gold dust and fillings?

A lady at my church in Fl went to the Lakeland revival and came back with a gold tooth. Stood up in church and even testified about it - had the whole church ooh and ahh-ing. All I could say is...Lord have mercy. Satan is so deceptive

I am also a sceptic. In my younger years I was involved in a wide variety of religions, and was a palm reader. I am also an illusionist. This combination has made me acutely aware of the way in which people can be made to believe something that is not true.

We are all susceptible to deception, to the influences of a good sales patter at our local retail store, to a convincing sob story from a con man. When we are told that God is doing something incredible we desperately want to believe it, to be a part of it, and so when people hear that God is giving people gold fillings, some suspend disbelief. To doubt seems to be showing a lack of faith, and so sometimes we don’t always ask the questions we should.

LINK

quote:

I can not find an example of God healing someone by providing a prosthetic limb. I find it hard to believe that the blind man was given metal eyes. For me it just wouldn’t make sense. If God, in designing humans, felt that we should have gold teeth, surely we would have been created with them? If, then, God heals someone who needs a filling, surely that healing would take the form of the cavity being replaced by the type of teeth we were designed with, not with a gold implant? If we were asked to believe that someone had been healed by being given a metal, or, for that matter, a wooden arm, we would struggle to see this as a miracle carried out by God, so why are people so ready to believe that God is providing people with fillings, gold or otherwise?

This is what I'm talking about. What do gold teeth prove?

1. How do they know this woman didn't already have a gold tooth?

2. How do they know this woman didn't get a gold filling before coming back?

3. What are they oohing and ahhing about?

You are right for what you said. God have mercy.

Just so you know. Those questions aren't for you. Just thinking out loud.

No prob. Child4Jesus. It is so funny, yet sad how Christians are deceived by this. I think someone took Ps. 81:10 totally out of context,” Open your mouth and I will fill it”. Just kidding…lol.

Gold teeth proves nothing but the fact that apostasy is here. 2 Thess. 2:9-12: “ Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Hype and Counterfeits
Although the praise reports are exciting, those who are involved in this new movement admit there is a downside to it, too. Some people get caught up in the sensationalism of the supernatural, just to enjoy a ride on the next charismatic bandwagon. Others may be faking the phenomenon.
"A lot of people are thinking that their fillings are turning gold when they're not," warns Wagner. "My dentist in Colorado Springs had a woman come to him thinking that her silver fillings had turned to gold, but he said they weren't gold. In fact, the cavities that she had in her mouth were still there."

These are my thoughts, as well--that's why my early questions about where/when this originated. It seemed so odd to me, I guess I don't understand why some people embrace it so wholeheartedly without even questioning it. If something is a true move of God, it will stand up to scrutiny. If it doesn't, and doesn't stand up to scripture, etc, why are people so eager to jump on the bandwagon? When the first person stood up & claimed to have gold fillings, why didn't someone ask "Why?"

Exactly. However the fact of the matter is people in these meetings are either new Christians or so deep in believing this stuff that nothing seems to be off to them. Or they are the type that think we shouldn't judge anyone, just leave it alone, don't touch God's anointed etc.

Some even claim silver or platinum fillings or caps have been manifested. Some of the fillings are even cross-shaped. I guess you can say this is a Christian dental plan. I remember almost 12 years ago of hearing a rumor like this from a Word/Faith Church here in Hawaii. At any rate there have been over than 300 incidents of “ miracles of the dental kind” claimed during a conference.

Scriptural proof: There are pictures on the Internet of these “molar miracles”. With the Scripture “Open your mouth and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10). So then David experience the dental miracle as well. When God said this it meant to have His word on your tongue. Since many want an experience instead of His word they received a wonder- a lying wonder. (see the video of John Scotland at Toronto to know exactly what this means).

I'm searching for the beginning of this false movement, no luck yet. lol.

LINK

quote:

The statement does admits: “In a few cases, dentists were able to show from their records that the gold was put in their mouths previously by the dentist and not by God. These people had apparently forgotten that this work had been done.” That is not surprising considering I have watched the videos and people forgot their name and where they live, so who can remember their last dental checkup. Some are reluctant to go visit their dentist so they can hold on to their miracle.

Example: a Canadian newspaper reported that two TV evangelists had recanted their claims of having received dental miracles: Willard Thiessen, host of a daily religion program on Winnipeg television, admitted yesterday he was wrong in telling his tele-flock that God had inexplicably planted a gold tooth in his mouth. It turned out the gold tooth had been implanted by his brother Elmer, a dentist in British Columbia.

Another religious broadcaster in Lethbridge, Alta., told a CJIL-TV audience during an on-air fundraising marathon in March that God had implanted a gold tooth in his mouth after a bout of intensive prayer. But Dr. Jack Sherman, Mr. Dewert's longtime dentist, said he had put it in about 10 years earlier.

quote:

Charisma News Service reported that a Brazilian evangelist Silvania Machado's had gold dust fall in services. Two independent tests on samples of the gold-colored dust found the substance to be more like plastic glitter, with no gold content. Charisma had two samples of Machado's gold dust analyzed by the U.S. Geological Survey in Washington, D.C. Both were regarded to be plastic film with no traces of gold, platinum or silver. (Sept. 8, 1999) Once again the test showed it to be plastic glitter. If this is a sign, what kind is it?

quote:

If you can get a chance to watch the Ruth Heflin video with Machado ( she is now deceased) What you will see is Machado planted all this stationary glitter in her hair prior to the stage performance. On cue from Heflin she bends her head and it all comes falling out from being clumped under her hair. Clearly this is so phony its hard to believe anyone would fall for this! But they do because they want to.

The "miracle revival" that is sweeping through charismatic churches has become stranger with each passing year. This "revival, known as the "Laughing Revival," the Toronto Blessing, and the Pensacola Outpouring, began in the mid-1990s. Its key personalities include Rodney Howard-Browne, Randy Clark, John Arnott, John Kilpatrick, Steve Hill, Colin Dye, Sandy Millar, Gerald Coates, David Pytches, Terry Virgo, Benny Hinn, David Yonggi Cho, Kenneth Copeland, and Morris Cerullo. It has been accepted widely within the Vineyard movement and the Assemblies of God. It is characterized by slaying in the spirit, shaking, convulsions, jerking, rolling on the floor, spiritual drunkenness, being spiritually glued to the floor, uncontrollable laughter, strange and unintelligible mutterings, roaring, barking, and many other weird and unscriptural manifestations. Its adherents claim that it is resulting in large numbers of conversions and in far-reaching spiritual renewal. They claim, in fact, that it is the first stage of a latter day worldwide miracle outpouring.

Perhaps this is where it all started. 1990?
