Chelsea I did miss it, I'm sorry! Hurray for a boy! Boys are so wonderful, just you wait. You're gonna love being the mom of a boy.

Amy, I know how you feel, but try to hold on. Despite the idea that a women is full term by 37 weeks, the more time your baby spends inside of you, the healthier he'll be. He'll be here before you know it.

Congrats on the boy, Chelsea! Is your little girl excited to be a big sister, or is she too little to understand.

Amy, it's not much help, but I sure do understand. I would also have the date in my head that the doctor wouldn't let me go PAST, and then try to find encouragement that there is an end in sight - by that date I would definitely have a baby.

After 4 pregnancies, I have finally passed my blood glucose test!!!! Yay - I hate taking the 3 hour one. I only passed by 2 points, but it's good enough for me.

Congrats on the BOY, Chelsea!

Amy- I can't believe you're due in 3 weeks. I know what you mean about feeling anxious to have your baby here. I was due September 30th, so I picked October 16th...FOR SURE my baby would be here by then. That helped me a little.

Yeah, I know he'll come whenever he's ready (or rather, whenever God is ready) and honestly, I don't think it would be as big a deal to me if I weren't going back to work after he's born. I mean, I'd still be impatient, but I wouldn't be so stressed about it. It just feels like every day that he is not here yet is another day that I don't get to spend with him because I have to return to work in February no matter when he's born. The sooner he gets here, the more time I'll have with him before I have to leave him 10 hours a day.

Oh well. I haven't had any pre-labor signs, so I'm not holding my breath for him being born in the immediate future

Congrats on the boy, Chelsea!

You might remember that a couple of weeks ago I asked you to pray for a friend of mine who was about ready to have a baby after losing a full term baby last November. Anyway, I'm happy to say that her daughter was born last night and is healthy and beautiful. They all all doing fine! I'm so thrilled for them and have been touched, too, by the way they've been remembering and honoring the son they lost while also celebrating the birth of their new daughter.

I'm in the process of packing boxes for a big move right now. It's not that fun! Still, I'm thankful to be doing this at 22 weeks, rather than 32!

Names... *sigh* we do have a name... we think. We thought we had a name a few weeks ago too and I ended up changing my mind so we will have to see if this one sticks around.

We are super excited, dh especially! I am a little nervous about being a mom to a boy but I think it will go away once he gets here.

I know how you feel. I'm hoping to work right up until the very very end so that all my maternity leave is AFTER the baby is born, not spent waiting for the birth.

I wish I were a teacher and would have the summer off. That would've been nice.

Mmm. I finally got all my herbs and was able to mix my pregnancy tea. YUM! It is so much better than the tea you buy from the store! I am determined to drink some every single day, I am hoping to notice a difference in my labour. Has anyone drank lots of red raspberry leaf tea (like from their second trimester on) and noticed a difference?

I used Evening Primrose Oil with my second and things went much better even though I was induced- not sure how much was EPO and how much was second time around, but I had *no* pain until I was 8.5-9 cm, so my "bad" labor (requiring hubby to start coaching) was only 2-3 hours

I haven't had time to post yet, but I had an ultrasound last week and there was a heartbeat! YAY! And the baby measured 9 weeks, and I was 9 weeks last week, so that's looking good too!

I see my OB on Dec 9th, I am anxious to see her again.

Wow, I missed a lot in this thread! Since our first was a surprise, I have a lot of yellow and green 0-3 sleepers, so either way, we are covered until the grandmas can go out and go crazy on blue if need be... Of course, if this is another girl, she will be set for life!

Thanks for the complement on the girls- that is my new favorite picture of them, and it's funny because the photographer didn't want them to pose that way, it was Eleni's idea and she told Anna what to do, and tada- a good shot!

Yolanda- soooooo glad things seem to be going well for you!

Me- well....yesterday was my appointment and once again, I have a completely uncooperative baby. The baby is sideways breech (which the doctor didn't care about two weeks ago, but now wants to check me again via u/s in two weeks to see if baby is still that way). I whined a little at the u/s tech, so she did print me a picture of the upper lip and nostrils- yep, that's the best she could get- I said, at least I can put it in the baby book and tell kiddo what a pain he/she was! Also, the heart rate was 132 which is fine, but a little low for this one and I know that concerned him a little- not enough to order an NST, but it was enough that *I* could tell he was making note to keep close track of it from here on out. Next visit I will be taking extra snacks and games in case he orders one. (after all the trouble with my last pg, I can now read his body language pretty well...) I am wondering if the breech is why I am so uncomfortable this go round...

Jennifer, I'll be saying a prayer that the little one becomes more cooperative!

Yolanda, glad to hear the positive report!

I would bet it was more from it being a second labor. I took EPO orally and vaginally starting at 30 weeks and I don't think it made a lick of difference. Maybe next time...

Well, this is weird. I seem to have broken out in hives almost from head to toe, rather quickly. I first noticed something on my arms 30 minutes ago, then went to take a shower and it was all over. Now that I know it's there, it's a bit more itchy, but not terrible.

Webmd says I can take benadryl if I really need something.

My girlfriend had a pregancy rash (PUPPS) at the end of her preganancy. It was so itchy and all over her body. The only that would help was luke warm bath with oatmeal. I pray you don't have that.

Yikes Ruth!! Do you have any idea what caused it?

I posted my 21 weeks belly picture on my blog, I still can not believe how much this little guy moves. Every time I sit or lie down he starts wiggling, he is one active boy!

Hooray for ultrasounds Christine!! I loved mine, it was wonderful to see our little man. Are you going to find out what you are having?

I posted this in the mommy's milk and will do the same here. I finally got myself nursing bras that fit, so that means I have several nursing bras that I am trying to get rid of. One is a bravado that I bought with Nadia, it is clean, but used. The others are various, used only a few months. The bravado is a L++, the others are some 36DD, 38DD and a 36F I think. If anyone is interested I am just asking for the cost of shipping. I also have some large buff mat pantihose, not opened and some loose preggie tea that I can't drink right now, it has peppermint in it. If anyone wants any of this, pm me. I'm trying to clean out clutter!

So I had mild contractions about every 15 minutes from 4:45pm yesterday until around 3:00am this morning. Then then went away Does that mean I'm getting close or is it just some freak string of BH sent to annoy me? I am sooooooo ready...

Yes we are.
And we're not going to tell anyone we're finding out. What I want to do is email everyone a little Christmas present on Christmas morning telling them the gender. And we're going to put the gender on a card and wrap it up for the kids to open Christmas morning.
