I'm wondering how long it'll be before I come across someone who says, "You're pregnant? I thought your husband was deployed" and then starts counting...
Maybe I should get a shirt that says,
"Justin WAS here when this happened"
LOL

and Christine, maternity pants are awesome! It won't be long before my maternity skirt comes out. My skirt was annoyingly tight today. Geez.

My Old Navy doesn't have a maternity section. And I'm in Michigan right now. NOt sure if I'll get to the Old Navy here or not.

I bought these jeans at Meijer and a pair of dress pants at JCPenney (needed fitting pants for a funeral).

if you know your old navy sizes ok, old navy online has a great mat selection.

I'm debating if I should just buy a couple of maternity skirts, or make some panels to go in my skirts. Honestly, while I don't really want to spend $ on mat clothes, I'm lazy and may not get around to making panels.
BUT...I did get an idea, using some tee shirts that are a few sizes too small. Cut them off at the chest and then use them as a homemade bella band sorta dealio.
Hmmm.
Can't take too long to decide. My skirts are tight 'cause I'm fat. It won't be long before they don't fit at all.

Congratulations, Sandy!

Christine, I got almost all of my maternity stuff at JC Penney... it was cheaper than anything I found anywhere else, even Target. My Old Navy doesn't have maternity clothes, either. I have now pretty much out-grown all of my maternity clothes, but it seems ridiculous to go buy anything else when I'm so close to the end. So I'm just shivering away in my too-small-short-sleeved tops and wearing the one sweat-shirt of my husband's that I can fit into every time I go outside

Most of my maternity clothes were loaners. I bought a couple pair of pants from Old Navy and some tops from Walmart, and a few pieces from Motherhood Maternity. Some stuff I never got to wear at all, it stayed too big. Pooey! But next time I'll be set!!

Congrats Sandy!

Christine isn't is awesome how comfy clothes that are made for your current body type are? I was in my mat pants by 6-7 weeks this time and it soo nice to be comfy!

Last time around I had one pair of maternity cords (that I wore for months) and 4 shirts. There was no where here to buy maternity clothes except for a fancy boutique type store where nothing, even a plain white t-shirt was less than $50!! Those clothes are in horrible shape and really aren't fit to be worn out of the house but as soon as I got pregnant I started saving every penny I could for clothes. We have a Thyme (and I just found out we are getting a Motherhood!!! SO THRILLED!) now and I am determined to have a decent wardrobe. We want a bunch more kids so it makes sense to invest in some nice clothes now. I only wear them when I'm going out, I wear whatever at home (usually one of dh's shirts and yoga pants).

When I was pregnant with Akeelah, I was thrilled to find that H&M does maternity. That's going to be my only stop every time I'm pregnant!

No kidding! I didn't have access to an H&M when I was pregnant, but they had the best looking maternity jeans when I was there a couple of months ago...

Yolanda, many of the Old Navy's here in Canada have maternity sections, but you have to go the back of babywear. Almost everything was onsale on the weekend when I went (Oshawa Centre). I actually bought a maternity winter coat (which I wouldn't have done) but it was 75% off!!! I couldn't go wrong for $25 dollars! It was 50% and then there were a few buttons off (which I sewed back on) so I got it at a sweet deal!

I love my maternity clothing. I've found some great places that sell used items, but they're barely used. So nice!

We're finally done with the bronchitis! I have energy again! Went to work today and LOVED it! I've been missing my class! I don't know how I'm going to let them go when I go on Mat. leave. A year away is a LONG time!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Oh, can we change my edd again! We're February 5 now. Honestly, this is the third change - however, when it happens it happens.

I had my 34 week prenatal today, and my c-section date may be moving, too. I'll have to wait and see.

On the good side, I haven't gained any weight in 4 weeks, but the baby is growing fine, so the doc isn't worried.

I even talked to the OB about some of the depression problems I've been having, and he assured me that my feelings are normal, but to keep them closely in the loop in case things get worse, or if it leaks over into PPD.

Most women are supposed to get more and more excited as their baby's due date approaches, and I find myself more overwhelmed by... a lot of things. But I guess I'm not the only woman ever to have anxiety as their baby's birth approaches. I've talked about it with dH as well, and I think I do feel better.

I have 3 dates too... Dec. 7 (based on 12 wk and 20 wk sonograms), Dec. 10 (based on ovulation) and Dec. 14 (based on 6 wk sonogram). I'm telling everyone I'm due on the 7th because it's the earliest and it makes me feel better But actually, I'm thinking (well, hoping) that Dec. 2 is my day

The stuff I bought at JCPenney was really expensive; but I was in a hurry and didn't look too hard for sales. However, I was at Meijer and spent way less and got pants and a shirt.

The pants are still a little big for my belly, but they are way more comfy than my regular pants which are tight right now.

My sister was all offended when I mentioned that I wanted to buy maternity pants and not just put a rubberband in my button hole to make them bigger.

The closest ON with a mat section is 4 hours away
There is one 1/2 hour away, and there's one an hour away, but neither of them have mat sections. Though, if I know something I want, I can call they other store and they'll ship it to my by courier for $5. The only thing is, since I don't have a mat section in my store, I don't know what they have, and often the clothes on the American website isn't the same.
I think last time I was pregnant I made two trips down there to check it out.
I was at Walmart today and they had a few cute mat clothes there. I loved a pair of pants I saw, but didn't pick them up just yet, maybe after Christmas.

I am an emotional wreck. I feel depressed like I was before I went on BCP about 5 years ago to regulate my hormones. Hopefully this is just a phase, maybe it was just a bad day, but I did end up using a personal day and going shopping!

I hope it was just a bad day, too, Yolanda. Did you have fun shopping? Let us know how you're feeling tomorrow.

I hope my boy gets more sleep tonight; he was one cantankerous, grouchy pants today.

Went to the doc today- still transverse breech, so I get one week off from an appointment, then go back for my group b test and internals If the baby is still breech then, he'll try to turn him, but won't induce that early... Time to wait and see...

Sandy- Whoopie! Gotta love R&R babies! (and it gives him something to brag about in the sand box!)

Sandy- no, not saying anything...this baby is stubborn and mean though- might be a boy! I have a "blob" u/s picture from my first dating one since I only had one period since the last kiddo, and from there, I have one "up the nose" shot from last time since I whined that I had no pictures- this baby insists on hiding all fingers, toes, and facial features during u/s and also has decided to send yucky purple lines four inches higher- *above* my belly button than either girl... I have had a few boy dreams, but nothing definitive like with my last two- I *knew* what they were- with this one, I'm still unsure... I'll have to wash pink, blue, yellow and green to make sure my bases are covered!
