Right now 25 is wonderful. I've learned if you let go and let God, He'll take care of everything.

So i'm borrowing this question...

So a question for the 30 somethings out there that I've been thinking about.....what are your parents thoughts towards your dating/whatever life? Do you keep them informed? Do you wait to invite them to the wedding? lol

Just change it to 20 somethings...lol

Well, I live at home so, yes, they would definitely know what's going on, as if there's anything going on to know about...

Well my parents and I aren't close.

And yes, I can keep secrets really well. I mean there are some people that know, because I can't hide anything from them. Others I just couldn't wait to tell...lol

I tell my mom when I see a guy at the grocery store that I think is cute.

I don't live with them but I call her a lot so she'd probably know right away. And I do live with my sister, so she'd definitely tell them if I didn't. Haha.

I think you should always be encouraged if you are 20-something! I'm waiting for a 50-something and single encouragement thread! Is there such a thing?

There used to be but it didn't get enough traffic - join us in the 40 something thread - I think I'll change the title to just say 40+ something.......

Thank goodness my mom doesn't do that to me. I might would have to smack her. She is utterly clueless when it comes to reading people though.

and I thought I was the only one that deals with this. Now at school, I'll tell my mom about a guy, and the next several times I talk to her she always asks about the guy, by name, to see if anything else has happened.

Thought I dig this back out.

I know a good many of us are struggling with our singleness.

I'm not sure if I'm struggling with my singleness or not but I wish I could know for sure that its going to change before tooooo long. So in that case I guess I'm not entirely content.....

Hey, OneJohn. There's nothing against bringing a thread back to the top if you have something to say, but we're not supposed to bump threads for the sake of bumping (just offering a friendly nudge. ). So say something!!
