Todd, bowling shoes for dancing? I never really thought of it much before. Also, thanks for the suggestion on Swing Dancing as well!

G-N-M, I haven't signed up for any classes yet. Truth be told, I am a bit shy when it comes to doing social things myself, but I will work myself up to it at some point.

Maybe I will consider taking tap dancing, but I am not sure yet.

I go to a local fitness club that gives dance lessons. They are so much fun! I also tend to be nervous in group situations the first few times, but as you get to know the regulars it can be a lot of fun! I love swing dancing, hustle, and salsa (those are the ones I've tried so far). We don't have to have partners and we rotate so you can learn other people's dance styles. Don't worry about the lack of experience. Guys generally take longer to learn the partner dances because they have to think more about how to lead the dance, whereas the girl just has to keep up with the rhythm and follow the lead, so don't get discouraged! I always enjoy the dance lessons and giving my partner tips on how to lead in such a way so I'll know what to do

. I also love dance classes because it's exercise that doesn't seem like exercise!

I am wanting to take Ballroom and Salsa dancing. g/f loves to dance and is trying to get me into it. i can two-step, ten-step, line dance but never did any other
