Hello . . . I'm the dad, and I have a vision for our family: We are Dad, Mom, and four children ages 9 through 21. Our daughter works with young ones at a childrens home in the Philippines. Now the rest of us are praying and working toward spending some time there, too. We believe our Lord has asked us to do some volunteer work in the squatters village there, starting with a three-week visit and then seeing where He leads us from that.
It's a HUGE project to take five people so far from home, and it's something I can't handle on my own. It's good to see everyone in the family working together and excited for this trip, and it's awesome to see God working it out step by step. If there are folks here at the Crosswalk Forums who feel called to pray for missionaries, we would be blessed by your prayers.
Over the years, prayer has become a bigger and bigger part of our lives, and we would be honored to pray for you, too. I'll be seeing you over at the Prayer section of the forums. Also, if there is a Missionary section of the forums, I'd like to know about that, I didn't notice it when I looked through the list.
