I am just curious here, now that the subscription rate to the printed version of the Singing News has gone up to $25.00 per year, and the digital format is only $15.00 per year , which format is everyone gonna get?

As for me, the old dinosaur, i'm gonna stick with the printed version, until the time they do away with it, then i will have no choice.

I prefer the printed version. You can take it with you anywhere you go and have access to reading it. I don't have a lap top and even if I did would still want printed version.

Me too...I like some of the features that are online only but those I read on the homepage and then move onto the forums. I prefer to stick with the printed version.

Do you get those free cd's when you subscribe to the digital version?
That's something you have to consider. You get them with the printed version and also you get the digital version. Really the printed version is only costing $10.00 more a year plus you get the cd's.

I don't think I've typically bothered to pay the extra s/h for the CD, either way. I already have most of the songs I want on the original artist CDs.

I much prefer the print edition.

I'm guessing that the older the subcribers get, the higher percentage that will prefer the print edition.

Maybe even a LARGE PRINT version.
That's what we have to have for our Sunday School.

I went with the digital version this time. Even though I was subscribed to the print version last year, I found myself referencing the digital version more often once it became available. And like L5MAN said, I can always print parts of it out if I need to.

Don't know yet. My subscrip is good till July 2010 for the printed version; I'm going to wait till close to that till I decide what I will do with my SN then.

Good for you!

I renewed print last time. But I think it was shortly before they released digital--I might go digital next time.

I read the digital version because I have access to it first, but I still like to have the print version to add to my stack of magazines.

If I was given access to both versions at the same time, I would read the print version. Scrolling is no match for fanning through pages quickly to find what I want to see.

You can't carry the digital version to the bathroom.

Deal breaker.

A laptop is not much help if you run out of TP.
