Tink, I thought of you when I was out buying my Christmas cards. They had several variaties of boxed Christmas cards with Tinkerbell on them. They were cute but I didn't want a whole box of them. I was wishing I could just buy one card to send to you. But since they come in 16s I probably would have had to either send you sixteen of them or one each year for the next sixteen years.

I sent most of mine out Friday. It was a combined effort. I wrote the message inside and addressed them. DD wrote the return addresses. J-11 put them in the envelopes. J-8 put the stamps on them and took them out to the mailbox, until I ran out of postage.

And a very collaborated effort it was! Thanks again for the card!

I am still working on picturing Shmoo with red streaky hair. When he makes himself into a ball so we can sing along with John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt (ever try to sing that in spanish???), does he look like one of the marble looking bouncy balls, or more like a baseball? Inquiring (and often rather warped minds, which could also look like a marblized bouncy ball if seen from the right angle- but not the obtuse or acute ones...) want to know...

Thanks everybody. I got my second Christmas card yesterday from off this exchange.

Jim, it's not a good idea to post your address in public like this.

Oh, and I forgot to say that I've finally got all of my cards sent out. The last of them went yesterday. Hopefully they'll get to their destinations in time for Christmas.

Stick around - we usually have the sign up for it around Sept/Oct.

Christmas cards have finally been purchased!! Y'all would not believe how difficult it was to find cards that actually said MERRY CHRISTMAS and not happy holidays or something to that effect... ... I will send 'em out tomorrow

I know what you mean. My non Christian penpals have been sending me cards that say 'happy holidays' instead of 'merry Christmas'.

Even when I caught a cab home the other day, the driver said 'merry x-mas'. I said 'the same to you', was horrified at myself for saying that, then said, 'no, merry Christmas'.
