I tend to get a lot of disagreement about this, but I LOVED the way No Country For Old Men ended.

No disagreement from me. I thought it was awesome. If more movies ended like that it would make for more interesting movies.

If more movies ended like that, it would become cliche.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (who was expecting a cliffhanger?)

THE THING (1982) (How often do you see a not-so-happy ending?)

True, but the way most movies end now is cliche, so I'm just pulling for something different.

I dissagree, In Old Men They should have ended it with the killers gun lying beside the 2 kids, and when he gets out of the car it accidently goes off, that way his death is just as unjustified as him walking away

I always though Field of Dreams ended about as perfectly as any movie could.

Totally agree with that one...LOVED the ending!

Let's see...

A Walk To Remember- sad, but sweet what Landon says at the end.

Another Cinderella Story- the not so popular girl ends up with the popular and amazing guy!

Flicka(The New One)- just a great ending to a great story!

Pride and Prejudice- in all truthfulness, the end is my favorite part of the movie, I could watch the end over, and over and over...

If the Boy in the Striped Pajamas follows the book ending, it will become #1 on my list!

We were just discussing this movie. I think it's one of the best film that was ever made--disturbing as it was. And I agree, the ending takes you full circle. Watch the beginning, and you'll know why I think the ending is one of the best.

I like the ending of Shawshank Redemtion.

And this is not one of the heavy hitters, but I like the ending of the Bucket List, just because I like the idea of leaving my ashes on top of the mountain.
